About JEMAT Entrance Exam: West Bengal University of Technology commence Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT) to give admission to the those candidates who are interested in getting admission to the various Post Graduate management courses from various institutes of management that are affiliated with West Bengal University of Technology.

JEMAT 2017 Eligibility details:

  • Before applying, ensue that those who have their graduation or having equivalent degree from some recognized university are fit to apply. If someone is interested, but in the final year, can also apply with the result by September month of the respective year
  • Only a citizen on India can apply for the examination

Steps for filling and submitting the Application form:

  • For availing the application form, one needs to make use of the online mode. First of all visit the official website http://www.wbut.ac.in/ and download the application form. Fill all the details such as name, address, signature and other info. Once the form is filled, make sure affixing the copy of the attestation with duly signed by gazetted officer
  • After this, send the demand Draft along with 2 latest colored photos by mentioning the date on which photo is clicked. Keep the photocopy along with the documents
  • For submitting the form, use nay mode, either offline or online, it is up to you. Make sure for paying the application through Indian bank account.

JEMAT 2017 Application Fee:

  • Without late fee charges: Those who belong to the general category need to make payment of Rs 800/- in the application form and Rs 400/- for SC/ST category students
  • With late fee charges: Those who belong to the general category need to pay the Rs 1000/- in the application form and Rs 500/-for SC/ST category students
  • Note: Use Demand Draft mode for making payment in the application form

JEMAT 2017 Syllabus:

The entire question paper is divided into three different parts comprises of English, Maths, and Logical Reasoning. The duration to complete the question paper will be 2 hours. This time limit, candidates are required to complete the paper which is in the Multiple Choice Question Format.

  • End of the procedure of the application form: June 2017
  • Date for the commencement of the examination: July 2017
  • Result Declaration: July 2017

JEMAT 2017 Selection procedure:

Once the examination is over, candidates will be called for Personal Interview as well as General Discussion which is based on the performance of the written test. But the selection procedure is all dependent on the marks weightage which is as below:

  •    Written Examination for 80%
  •    General Discussion for 10%
  •    Personal Interview for 10%

JEMAT 2017 Admit Card:

Admit card of JEMAT entrance exam will be issues ten days prior the examination. Candidates can download the admit card via official website by just entering the registration number as well as date of birth. Candidates are required to carry the admit card along with themselves while attempting the examination. No candidate will be permissible to give the exam without it. Thus, consider it a compulsory document.
