Karnataka Post Graduate Entrance Test which is usually known as Karnataka PGCET is a state level test commenced by KEA or Karnataka Examinations Authority. Those who wanted to seek admissions in M.E/M.Tech can be acquired by clearing the Karnataka PGCET 2017 entrance exam. PGCET 2017 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate should have domicile of Karnataka
  • Candidate should have passed B.E or B.Tech or the equivalent exam with at least 50% marks if belonging to General category. Those who belong to the reserved such as SC, ST, and OBC category need to gained at least 45% aggregate marks
  • Before applying assure that candidate should have studied at least for seven years in the state of Karnataka
  • Lastly, make sure that those who have appeared for GATE will not be considered valid for applying for PCGET 2017

Application Form 2017 Karnataka PGCET:

  • First of all register by entering the details such as names, address, parents name, date of birth, email address and contact number. Also enter educational details like marks etc appropriately
  • It is required for entering the chosen User ID and password along with the mobile numbers for sure
  • After getting done with the registration, application number will be generated and then candidate can login by choosing the User ID along with password. The details can also be sent via modes such as Email or SMS.
  • Upload the scanned photographs, thumb impression, and signature
  • Download the EChallan and make payment of the fee
  • After getting done with the payment, candidates required for entering the details and take out print of the application form.
  • Affix the photograph same as the scanned one, put the signature, left thumb impression and keep with you during the time of counselling.

 Karnataka PGCET 2017 Application fee:

  • Those who belong to the General category need to make payment of 650/- and those who belong to the categories like SC and ST need to make payment of Rs 500/-
  • The mode of the payment will be cash at any of the branches of State Bank of Mysore. Else, one can choose for making payment via e-payment mode at the post office

PGCET 2017 Paper Pattern:

The entire examination will take place for 2 hours and the medium for attempting the paper will be only English. The total marks will be 100 and these 100 marks are divided in two different parts. Part I-50 questions, 1 mark each and Part II-25 questions, 2 marks each

PGCET 2017 Admit Card:

The availability of the admit card is possible only via online mode. Candidates are required to use the online mode for fetching the hall ticket which is one of the important documents while you go for attempting the entrance exam. The admit card comprises of all the details like name, address etc, so make sure that you attain it and take its print out for accomplishing further needs.

Karnataka PGCET Result Declaration: For fetching the result of Karnataka PGCET, candidates are required to sign in the Karnataka PGCET 2017 results and by entering the registration address get the result. You are required to use the online mode for availing the results.

    Good evening as iam in 7th sem cs branch. when we have to apply, what is date of registeration for pgcet after, when we can get admitted to college. As iam interested do my mtec in bangalore. can u help me out by giving the exact details of it.
