AAU VET 2024: AAU VET stands for Assam Agricultural University Veterinary Entrance Test. It’s state level exam conducted every year by the Assam Agriculture University. This exam is for aspirants seeking admission into Undergraduate Courses like Veterinary Science, Animal Husbandry, etc. The examination is a pen and paper-based Exam. AAU opens the gate for aspirants who want to pursue UG courses in Agriculture, Horticulture, Veterinary, Fishery, Sericulture and Home Science.
AAU VET 2024 Application Form:
The Registration Process for AAU VET 2024 Exam involves the following steps;

- Application form for AAU is usually available on the official website i.e. www.aau.ac.in
- The form requires filling in basic details like name, email and mobile number.
Including documents like photograph( max 50kb and min 20 kb) and signature (min 15 Kb and max 30 kb) both in .jpg or .jpeg formats.
- After filing these details your registration will be completed.
- Submit the Application Form only if all information is correctly entered.
Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay the application fees online through credit cards, debit cards and net banking.
- It’s Rs 1100 for Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry.
- For post-graduation courses and other courses, it’s Rs 500.
After paying the fee, the candidates will receive a confirmation message in their registered mobile number, confirming payment.

Educational qualifications
- For Gen / OBC/UPS – Candidates must have passed 10+2 exam with Physics/Mathematics/ Biology/ Agriculture/ Forestry with min 50% aggregate.
- SC/ST – Candidates must have passed with 40%marks from a recognized board.
- Age limit –Minimum age limit is 16 years of age for candidates opting for undergraduate courses.
Exam Pattern:
AAU VET 2024 Exam is a pen and paper-based test.
- It has 150 multiple-choice questions.
with each question carrying one mark.

- physics (45 marks)
- chemistry (45 marks)
- biology (60 marks)
- The time duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.
