AIL LET 2022AIL LET 2022: The Army Institute of Law Entrance Test is also called the AIL LET. This is an entrance examination that is online based and is conducted by the Army Institute of Law, Mohali, Punjab. This is conducted to get admission to the BA LLB program. The total number of seats is 80. Out of these 60 seats will be given to the wards of the army personnel only. Out of the remaining 20 seats, 4 seats will be given to the students throughout India. It will be filled based on the AIL LET scores. The rest 16 seats belong to the Punjab category. It will be filled based on the scores of the 10+2 examination.

AIL LET 2022 Application Form:

The AIL LET 2022 application process will be done online only. The forms will be available on the official website. There is a “Register” online tab on the website. The candidate will have to click on the tab. Candidates do have the option of registering both online as well as offline. In the application form, the candidate will have to include the personal and also the qualification details. Apart from this, the candidate will have to fill in the other details along with the recent passport-size photo of the candidate in the given format. After filling up the form, the candidate will have to keep a hard copy of the application form for reference in the future. To fill up the application form, the candidate will have to follow the steps mentioned below:

  • The student will have to first visit the official website.
  • Then the student will have to either click on the LLM or the BA LLB link.
  • The candidate will have to ensure that there are no mistakes in the form.

The candidate will have to submit the following documents along with the application form. These include:

  • The mark sheet as well as the passing certificate of the HSC and SSC
  • The mark sheet of the graduation course along with the Graduation degree certificate
  • The Migration Certificate
  • The character Certificate
  • The certificate category ( If required)
  • The medical fitness certificate
  • The parents will have to submit an affidavit stating that the ward has studied the Punjabi language in class X
  • Eligibility Certificate that states that the candidates have passed the HSC examination from other states other than Punjab, Haryana
  • 12 passport size photographs
  • 1 photograph of the parents, the family members, and the local guardians
  • Affidavit/Certificate for the Punjab Resident civil group

Application Fee:

Candidate will have to pay Rs.3000 as the application fee online or offline. The candidate can pay online either through credit or debit card or through net banking. The candidate will have to pay using a DD or by cash for offline mode.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Students who have already cleared the 10+2 examination from the University of Punjab or any other equivalent board except the Bihar Education Board will be eligible to apply for this particular course.
  • The students who have cleared the 10+2 examination from the Open University Board and do not have any basic qualifications for pursuing their studies will not be eligible.
  • The candidate will have to be an Indian citizen
  • The upper age limit to apply for this examination is 20 years

Exam Pattern:

  • The candidates will have to attain multiple-choice questions.
  • The total number of questions that the candidate will have to answer is 200.
  • The total duration will be 2 hours.
  • The question paper will be in English.
  • The candidate will get 1 mark for each correct answer.
  • There will be no negative marking.

Syllabus:

There is a syllabus mentioned for the AIL LET 2022 examination and to appear for the examination, the candidate will have to prepare according to the syllabus. The questions will be on public knowledge, Public knowledge Current affairs, and General English.

Admit Card:

The admit card for the AIL LET examination will be issued by the Army Institute of Law, Mohali. It is normally available a week before the examination date. The candidates will be able to download the admit card from the official portal. The admit card will contain all the important details of the candidates including the examination center, the roll number, the examination timings, and the examination instructions.

Result:

The result of this examination will be published online. The students need to download the result from the official site and keep a hard copy of the same. To view the result, the candidate will have to put the roll numbers in the official link. If the candidates qualify for the examination, they will also have to appear for a counseling session.
