AIPVT stands for All India Pre-Veterinary Test, which is national level examination commenced every year by VCI or Veterinary Council of India. The aim of the examination is to give admission to the popular courses like B.V.Sc. & A.H. Via this reputed test, seats to the colleges will get filled. According to this, 15% All India Quota seats into Veterinary Colleges of India (excluding Jammu & Kashmir) and 85% state quota seats into veterinary colleges of the participating states. AIPVT 2018 Application Form Info:

Application Fee Details:

Application fee cost comprises of Rs. 1500/-. This amount plus Rs. 750 with late fee is for General as well as OBC category candidates. Other than this, Rs 750/- is the valid amount of candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PH category. In addition to Rs 750, another Rs 750/- added with late fee

Eligibility Criteria:

Make sure to check the eligibility criterion which is as follows:

  • Applicant ensure to be citizen of India excluding from state of Jammu and Kashmir
  • Applicant must have completed 17 years of age as on or prior 31st December of the academic year of the admission
  • The maximum age limit for those who are seeking admission under 15% quota is 25 years as on 31st Dec 2018. Those who belong to categories such as OBC, ST, and SC will be age relaxation of 5 years in the upper age limit.
  • Candidates require having cleared out 10+2 or appearing with the subjects such as English, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics.
  • In the qualifying exam, candidates must have passed with at least 50% aggregate marks scored in the English, Chemistry Maths, and Physics.
  • In case any of the candidates belonging to Jammu And Kashmir State appear for the test then they need to upload the self-declaration

AIPVT Exam Pattern:

  • Questions Type: AIPVT 2018 question paper comprises of 180 objective type questions which include four options with one correct answer
  • The medium of the question paper to answer includes Hindi and English
  • For every correct answer, candidate will give 4 marks and one mark will deduct for every incorrect answer
  • Exam duration will for 3 hours
  • Physics includes 45 questions
  • Chemistry for 45 questions
  • Biology including Botany and Zoology with 90 questions

AIPVT Admit Cardo:

For availing the admit card, you need to download the admit card from the official website. To catch the admit card, one can check the website around second week of April. Make sure for keeping the admit card securely until and unless admission process come to an end.

Answer Key:

The answer key will display on the main website. This gives chance to the candidate for calculating the marks prior announcement of the result. If you find some issues with the answer key then make payment of Rs 1000/- per question. If challenge accepted then you will likely to get the amount back

AIPVT Result:

The announcement of the result will make using online mode. The results are likely to announce by the May month. If you have passed the examination then admission for the year 2018-19 will give soon.

Counselling Info:

The schedule for the counseling will publish according to waiting list or merit list on the main website. Candidates will inform via text message or email. Make sure for appearing in the counseling process with the require documents in order to get done with the verification. Most probably, counseling will do in the month of August.

Selection Process:

Veterinary Council of India is responsible for preparing the merit list according to state wise and All India wise. For All India Quota seats, counseling is do via VCI and for other 85%, states commence the counseling. Those states who are participating will make rank based on the state wise and All India merit list.
