AMUEEE 2023: Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Examination is conducted by the Aligarh Muslim University. AMU provides admission for the engineering courses like B.Tech, B. Arch, B.E. programs in various streams like Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Architecture, and Petrochemical Engineering. For tentative dates, candidates can go through the official portal – www.amu.ac.in:

AMUEEE 2023 Application Form:

The application form can be filled online in the month of January. Candidates are suggested to check eligibility criteria before filling the form. It can be filled and correction has been done till the last date that is in February.

The following steps have to be followed during form filling:

  1. Candidates firstly register themselves to get the application form. By going through the official registration link it can be filled. Fill it with your name and phone number and valid email id.
  2. After that, you will get the registration number and DOB as a password.
  3. Go through the application form link and put registration number and password you will get the application form.
  4. Fill in your personal details, parent’s details, gender, category, educational details, etc.
  5. Upload scanned documents in a particular size and format.
  6. Upload photograph scanned thumb impression and signature in particular size and format.
  7. Pay application fees online.
  8. Review your application details and finally submit it.

Application Fee:

The application fee can be paid only online mode. By using online mode you can pay through Debit card/ Credit card/ Net Banking. The fee structure is as follows:

  • B.Tech – Rs.650/-
  • B.Arch – Rs. 750/-
  • B.E. – Rs. 450/-

Eligibility Criteria:

Before form filling candidates must be check eligibility criteria that are as follows:

  1. Age criteria: lower age limit is 17years and the upper age limit is 30years till the dates. For reserved candidates, there is an exemption in the upper age that is 32 years.
  2. Educational Qualification: One must have passed 12th from recognize board in physics, chemistry, mathematics and English with a minimum 50% score. For the reserved category, there is relaxation in the score is a minimum of 45%.
  3. For diploma, candidates must have passed diploma with a minimum 50% score

Examination Pattern:

  1. This examination has been taken offline (pen/paper mode)
  2. Total 150 questions will be asked.
  3. Multiple choice questions.
  4. The examination duration will be 3hours.
  5. There are three sections Physics- 50, Chemistry-50, Mathematics-50
  6. One mark will be awarded at every correct answer.
  7. 25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
  8. No marks will be awarded at unattempted questions.

Admit Card:

AMUEEE admit card will be released in the month of May last week. You can check and download it online by using the registration number and password. It is mandatory to carry admit card and id proof at the time of entrance examination. Without admit card one must not be allowed in the examination hall. It has the following details:

  1. Name and photograph
  2. Roll number
  3. Parent’s Name
  4. Reporting date and time
  5. Examination Centre address
  6. Important information regarding examination

Result:

You can download the result in the first week of June month. By using the roll number and date of birth as a password, after taking the examination and evaluation of answer sheets, the conducting authority might announce the result after a month from the examination. Aspirants are suggested to check their results at the web portal of the Board. You can download the scorecard for counseling procedure.

Answer Key:

Candidates can download the answer key from the website www.amucontrollerexams.com that will take you directly to the download link of the answer key. By clicking it you can see and download it. Now you can review your answer with the answer key and object to your objections if any.

Cutoff:

The cutoff of AMUEEE is decided by the minimum score is secure by the candidates. It can be decided by the candidate’s performance level, seat capacity and the total number of test takers. As per that merit list will be prepared and counseling process begins.
