AP GPCET Admission 2023: AP GPCET, Andhra Pradesh Gurukul Pathshala Common Entrance Test is commenced by APREI (Andhra Pradesh Residential Educational Institutions) Authority. Admission is provided once a year in class V in AP Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions (APSWREI), AP Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions (APTWREI), AP Residential Educational Institutions (APREI), and MJPAP Backward Classes Welfare Residential Educational Institutions (MJPAPBCWREI). AP GPCET Admission 2023 Application Form:

There will be the release of the application form of AP GPCET through the official website. Visit the official website to apply for the examination before the last date. It is also important to fill in the details in the application form carefully and correctly. Applicants are required to mention the school in which he/she wants to attain admission i.e. APSWR/APTWR/APREIS/MJPAPBCWR while submitting the application form. A registration fee is not a requirement at all.

Those who are seeking admission to class V in APSWR/ APTWR/ / MJPAPBCWR Institutions for the year 2023-24 need to apply online via the website website_apgpcet.access.in from the internet center (or) at the help desk of any APSWR Institution/APTWR Institution/MJPAPBCWR Institution.

It is required to mention the school which he/she wants to join from APSWR/ APTWR/MJPAPBCWR while submitting the application form. It is of utmost importance to make the correct entries as incorrect forms will not be entertained. After the form is filled, upload the photos in the prescribed format.

AP GPCET Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Check the eligibility conditions to apply for AP GPCET Admission 2023:

  • SC/ST category students born between 01.09.2010 to 31.08.20134 whereas BC / EBC and OC students should have been born between 01.09.2010 to 31.08.2014 to apply
  • Students must be studying in class 4th in a Government school or a school recognized by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.
  • The annual income of the parents should not be beyond Rs.1, 00,000/- as per the latest income certificate issued by the competent authority.
  • Applicants must be eligible to apply for admission in their native district only. The Native District of the candidate implies the place where the student studied for two years in Class III or IV, recognized by Govt. Of A.P. or native place as certified by the competent authority

Examination Pattern:

It is crucial to check the exam pattern given below:

  • The paper will be for 50 marks
  • The exam will be commenced in 4 different subjects such as English, Telugu, Mathematics, and Environmental Sciences based on the state syllabus of class IV of the AP State government.
  • There will be Objective Type Questions on paper and available in languages such as English/Telugu/Urdu

Marks Distribution:

  • Part A: Telugu will have 10 questions for 10 Marks
  • Part B: English will consist of 10 questions for 10 Marks
  • Part C: Mathematics will consist of 10 questions for 10 Marks
  • Part D: Environmental Studies will have 10 questions for 10 Marks
  • Part E: Science will consist of 10 questions for 10 Marks

For BG Inter CET:

It will also be an Objective Type Paper and the marks distribution is as follows:

  • Mathematics will have 25 questions
  • Physical Science will have 15 questions
  • BioScience will have 15 questions
  • Social Science will have 15 questions
  • English (Comprehension and Grammar) will have 15 questions
  • Logical Reasoning will have 15 questions

The candidate will get 1 mark for every correct answer and there will be a deduction of 1/4 mark for an incorrect answer.

Make sure to fill the OMR sheet with either black or blue ballpoint pen. Ensure not to use the Pencil.

Admit Card/Hall Ticket:

The Admit card or hall ticket will be released for those who have submitted the application form successfully. Download the admit card from the official website and keep a printed copy of the same for further reference. It is equally important to go through the details mentioned in the admit card. It is an important document that the application needs to carry to the exam center at the time of the exam.

Question Paper & Answer Key:

There will be the release of the Answer Key of AP GPCET 2023 on the official website applet.access.in. It will be released soon after the exam gets over. Applicants can raise objections against the answer key via email at acadexco2@gmail.com.

Selection Process:

Here are the certain important points related to the selection of the candidate:

  • Admission to class V in all AIPER institutes will be provided based on merit. Admission will be given as per the merit acquired in APGPCET (Common Entrance Test) in 2023.
  • Exam Conducting Authority will prepare two separate Merit Lists for Boys and Girls. This list will be district-wise as well.
  • Students may opt for more than one school.
  • The Convener/Co-coordinator has all the rights to reject the admission in case the applicant is found ineligible or the information entered in the application form is inapplicable.
  • If the same rank is attained by more than one applicant then priority will be given to the applicant of higher age.
  • If age is found same then, priority will be given to the student who attained higher marks in Mathematics.
  • If both age and marks in Maths are found same, then marks acquired in Environmental Science will be taken into consideration.
