CMC Vellore 2023 Application Form:

  • The availability of the application form is through online mode.
  • The registration process for Group A will start from the month of February.
  • Move to the official website for more details.
  • Fill the important details such as personal info, academic info, and communication details, etc
  • Upload the scanned photos of size 150 W x 150 H and signature150 W x 50 H.
  • After this, take out the print out of the application form.
  • Make a payment of Rs. 800/- as application fee. Along with making the additional payment of 500/- per course for Group A and PG courses for making payment for Rs 100/- in Group B.
  • Payment can be done via different modes such as Debit card, credit card, and demand draft or even via e-challan.
  • If choosing DD then it should be in favor of C.M.C. Vellore Association a/c payable at Vellore from any of the nationalized bank.
  • IF DD/ Challan then candidates are required to send proof of the payment and added with required documents.

Eligibility for Group A Course:

  • MBBS: Those who have passed class 12th passed with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry & Biology by securing 60% marks and qualified NEET exam can apply for the exam.
  • B.Sc Nursing: Students must have passed class 12th with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English subjects. This course is applicable to unmarried women candidates only.
  • BPT: Those who have passed class12th passed with 35% marks each in subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, & Biology/Botany & Zoology can apply for the exam.
  • B.Sc. MLT, BOT, B.Optom, B.Sc Medical Records Science: Those who have passed class 12th passed with subjects like English, Chemistry, Physics, & Biology.
  • B.Sc. Respiratory Therapy: Those who have completed class12th with subjects like Chemistry, English, Physics,  & Biology or Botany & Zoology.

Eligibility for Group B Courses:

  • M.Sc. Biostatistics: B.Sc or B.Sc. Statistics Degree in any of the subjects with statistics can apply for the course.
  • M.Sc. Medical Physics: Those who have completed B.Sc. with Physics as the main subject can apply.
  • MPH (Master of Public Health): Those who have passed MPT, BDS, MBBS, MOT, BVSc, & MSc Nursing can apply for an exam.
  • Diploma in Nursing: If you have done class12th or equivalent exam with subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Biology (Botany & Zoology) & English attaining 40% marks can apply. The minimum age should be 17 years as or on 31 December 2016.
  • Diploma in MRT, Anesthesia Tech, Urology Technology, Hand & Leprosy Physiotherapy Tech & Dermatology Laboratory Tech: Those who have completed class 12th with subjects such as Physics, English, Chemistry & Biology can apply for the exam.
  • Diploma in Optometry, Prosthetics & Orthotics: If you have secured 40% in 12th class with subjects like English, Physics & Biology/Mathematics can apply for the exam.
  • PG Diploma in Cardiac Technology: If the candidate has completed B.Sc with English and with anyone as the main subject Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Botany, or Biology can consider applicable to apply.
  • PG Diploma in Health Management: This course required a graduation degree in any stream.
  • PG Diploma in Dietetics: Those who have done B.Sc. Home Science or B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics can apply for the exam.
  • PG Diploma in Hospital Administration: Those who have done graduation degree in any stream can apply for the exam.

CMC Vellore 2023 Exam Pattern:

Exam Pattern for Under Graduate Courses:

  • The exam will take place via online mode.
  • The question paper is based on Multiple Choice Questions.
  • The candidate has to go through 240 questions.
  • There will be no negative marking as such.
  • The exam duration includes 3 hours.
  • The question paper will appear in the English language only.
  1. 60 questions will appear from Physics.
  2. 60 questions will appear from Chemistry.
  3. 60 questions will appear from Biology.
  4. 60 questions will appear from General Ability (Section I).
  5. 60 questions will appear from General Ability (Section II).

Exam Pattern for Diploma Courses:

  • The exam will take place via online mode.
  • The question paper is based on the Multiple Choice Questions Pattern.
  • The candidate has to go through 90 questions.
  • There will be no negative marking as such.
  • The exam duration includes 3 hours.
  • The question paper will appear in the English language only.

CMC Vellore Syllabus:

The syllabus comprises of 12th class boards took place by TN Dr. MGR Medical University. The syllabus includes various topics from subjects such as Physics, Biology, Chemistry, & General Ability, accuracy, and speed. Also, some questions will appear from current topics.
