CMC Vellore 2024 Application Form:

  • CMC Vellore 2024 Application form will be provided via online mode.
  • The registration procedure for Group A will begin from the month of February
  • Collect all the details from the official website
  • Fill the details such as personal info, academic info, and communication details, etc in the application form.
  • Make sure to upload the size of the scanned photo 150 W x 150 H and signature150 W x 50 H
  • Take print out of the application form
  • Make payment for the application fee which is Rs. 800/-. Make a payment of the Rs 500/- per course for Group A and Post Graduate course per course will be Rs 100/- in Group B.
  • Payment for the application fee can be done via different modes like credit card, Debit card, and demand draft or e-challan
  • If you prefer sending the application fee via Demand Draft then make it in favour of C.M.C. Vellore Association a/c payable at Vellore from some nationalized bank only. Also, send the proof of the payment and along with the required documents.

Eligibility Criteria for Group A Course:

  • If you are applying for BPT then you must have completed class 12th with at least 35% marks in subjects like Chemistry, Physics, & Biology/Botany & Zoology.
  • If applying for B.Sc. MLT, BOT, B.Optom, B.Sc Medical Records Science then you must have cleared class 12th with subjects like physics, English, Chemistry, & Biology.
  • If you are applying for MBBS then you must have completed class 12th with subjects like Physics, Chemistry & Biology by attaining 60% marks and must have cleared the NEET exam.
  • If you are applying for B.Sc Nursing then you must have completed class 12th with subjects like Physics, Chemistry & Biology (Botany & Zoology) and English. The candidate should be an unmarried female.
  • While applying for B.Sc. Respiratory Therapy, ensure that you must have completed class12th with subjects specifically English, Chemistry, Physics, and Biology or Botany & Zoology.

Eligibility Criteria for Group B Courses:

  • If applying for M.Sc. Biostatistics ensures that you must have completed B.Sc or B.Sc. Statistics in any of the subjects with a statistics course
  • If you are looking forward to applying for M.Sc. Medical Physics then you must have completed B.Sc. with a specific subject such as Physics.
  • In case, the candidate is interested in applying for MPH (Master of Public Health) then successful completion of MBBS, MOT, MPT, BDS, BVSc, & MSc Nursing is a must.
  • If you wanted to apply for Diploma in Nursing then you must have completed class12th or some equivalent examination with subjects such as Biology (Botany & Zoology), Chemistry, Physics, and English with at least 40% marks. The minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years as or on 31st December 2016.
  • If you are interested in applying for Diploma in MRT, Anesthesia Tech, Urology Technology, Hand & Leprosy Physiotherapy Tech & Dermatology Laboratory Tech then you must have completed class 12th with subjects like Chemistry, Physics, English, & biology.
  • To apply for a diploma in Optometry, Prosthetics & Orthotics, you must have acquired 40% marks in class with subjects such as Physics, English, & Biology/Mathematics.
  • To apply for Post Graduation Diploma in Cardiac Technology, you must attain the degree of graduation in B.Sc with subjects like English and anyone main subjects such as Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, or Biology
  • Apply for PG Diploma in Health Management if you have done graduation in any of the streams.
  • While applying for PG Diploma in Dietetics make sure that you have completed B.Sc. Home Science or B.Sc. Nutrition and Dietetics successfully.
  • PG Diploma in Hospital Administration is possible to apply for in a case, you have completed graduation in any stream.

Exam Pattern:

Exam Pattern for UG Courses:

  • The exam will commence via online mode
  • The question paper will appear in the Multiple Choice Questions pattern.
  • Candidate must have done 240 questions
  • There will be no negative marking at all.
  • The exam duration includes 180 minutes.
  • The question paper will appear in the English language only.
  • 60 questions each will appear from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, General Ability (Section I), General Ability (Section II)

Exam Pattern for Diploma Courses:

  • The exam will be commenced via online mode
  • The question paper is entirely based on Multiple Choice Questions
  • The candidate needs to attempt 90 questions
  • There will be no negative marking
  • The exam duration will be for 180 minutes.
  • The question paper will appear in the English language only.
  • 25 questions each will appear in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and 15 questions in General Ability

Syllabus:

The syllabus of the examination consisted of the syllabus from class 12th taken by TN Dr MGR Medical University. The syllabus consisted of topics from subjects like Physics, Chemistry, General Ability, Biology, Accuracy & speed. Question paper includes questions from current topics also. The syllabus is based on the course opted via candidate.

Admit Card:

  • Fetch admit card from the official website.
  • It can be collected 15 days prior to the exam day.
  • Carry admit card and original ID proof while moving to the examination hall
  • Admit card will remain the same for Group A and Group B courses

Result:

  • The exam result can be attained via online mode using the main website.
  • Once the exam is cleared, you will be given a call for seeking an admission round.
  • Take print out of the result for further reference.
  • Seek admission into the course after attaining the scores.

Cut-Off:

Cut off is crucial for seeking rank in the entrance examination. It is important that a candidate must secure minimum marks in the exam. To appear in the top rank, attain maximum marks. The merit list will be made based on the cut off which will help in seeking admission to the course.

Counseling:

  • Once the exam gets clear counseling will be the next step.
  • A merit list will be made based on the performance shown in the exam.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be given a phone call for further admission process such as interview etc.
  • While moving for counseling, collect certain original documents for the purpose of verification.
  • Move to the venue for confirmation of admission to the course.
