CPNET 2023: Combined Paramedical and Nursing Entrance Test (CPNET) conducted by the Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Science (UPUMS). This exam is held at the state level. They offer admission for various courses like B.Sc. Nursing, B.Pharma, G.N.M, A.N.M, BPT, BMLT, BRIT, B.Optom, D.O.T, D.Optom, D.P.T, D.D.T, D.C.T Scan, D.C.T, D.B.T, D.E.T.C.T, DMRI. CPNET 2023 Application Form

CPNET 2023 Application form can be filling through the online official portal. The form will be available most tentatively in December month. Candidates are suggested to go through the instruction brochure before form filling. The followings steps have to be followed are as follows:

  • Firstly register yourself with your Name, Contact number, Valid Email. id at the CPNET Registration link provided in the front page. Then you will get the registration number and password.
  • With the help of the registration number open the application form and fill it with all required details like personal details, Parent’s details, Education qualification details, gender, Category, etc.
  • Upload the scanned required documents like education qualification certificates, category certificate, etc.
  • Upload the passport size photograph and signature in the required size or format.
  • The next steps are to pay the application fee through the payment link provided below.
  • Review the application form and finally submit it.
  • Take a printout of your form for further requirements.

Application Fee:

The application fee can be pay through online mode by using a Credit card/ Debit card/ net banking. The application fee is nonrefundable and nonadjustable in any condition.

  • Category- General/OBC- Rs. 1,000/-
  • SC/ST Category- Rs. 500/-

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must have fulfilled the following Eligibility criteria to appear in the examination:

Education Qualification:

For B.Sc. Nursing– Must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in physics, chemistry, Science and English as main subjects from recognized Board. For the reserved category, 40% of marks required. Candidates who have passed from the NIOS board also eligible for the exam.

For BPT, BMLT, BRIT, B.Optom – Must have passed 10+2 with 50% marks in physics, chemistry, Science and English as main subjects from recognize Board. For the reserved category, 45% of marks required. Candidates who have passed from the NIOS board also eligible for the exam.

For G.N.M and A.N.M- Candidates have passed 12th in any stream from recognize board with a minimum of 40% marks and for the reserved category a minimum 35% marks. For the A.N.M course only female candidates can apply.

For B.Pharma- Candidates must have passed 12thwith 50%, marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English or Mathematics as main subjects from recognize Board.

For Diploma Course- Required Intermediate with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Mathematics as main subjects from recognizes board.

Age Criteria- Minimum age requirement is 17years of age till the date and no upper age limit.

  • For GNM minimum age requirement is 17 years and the maximum upper age is not more than the 35years till date.
  • Candidates must possess a Domicile certificate of Uttar Pradesh.

Examination Pattern:

  • Mode of Examination- Offline (Pen/Paper-based)
  • Language of Exam- Hindi and English
  • Type of Question- Multiple Choice questions
  • Total Number of Questions- 100
  • Examination Duration- 2 hours

There are two papers in this examination. Paper -1 is for Science background students and Paper-2 is for Arts, Commerce, and other stream students. Both papers have been taken at the same time.

Questions number distribution is as follows:

  • Paper-1 consists of Physics- 33, Chemistry- 33, and Biology/Mathematics- 34
  • Paper-2 consists of General Studies- 60, General English- 20, and General Hindi- 20

Exam Syllabus:

The entrance examination syllabus will be based on the syllabus studies in the intermediate class. Recommended books for preparation are NCERT, UP Board, ICSC books.

PHYSICS:

  • Modern physics, Optics, Sound and Mechanical Waves, Thermal physics, General physics, Mechanics, Electricity and Magnetism, Gravitation, Kinematics, Work, Energy and Power, Laws of Motion, Physical World and Measurement, Property of Bulk Matter, Oscillations and Waves, Thermodynamics, Motion of System of Particles and Rigid Body, Optics, Communication System, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Electrostatics

CHEMISTRY:

  • Atomic Structure, Mole Concept, Solutions, Thermodynamics, Chemical Equilibrium, Chemical bonding, Electrochemistry, Chemical kinetics, Classification of Elements and Periodicity Property, Compounds, Solid State, Hydrogen, Elements s- Block, Metals and Metallurgy, Coordination Compounds, P-Block, D- Block, F-Block, Basic Concept, Isomerism, Structure of Atoms, Solid State, Some Basic Concepts of Chemistry, Classification of Elements and Periodicity in Properties, States of Matter: Gases and Liquids, Structure of Atoms, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Equilibrium, Thermodynamics, Hydrocarbons, Reactions, Surface Chemistry, Alcohols, Phenols and Ethers, Coordination Compounds

Admit Card:

Once the application process has been completed the official will release admit card within a month. Candidates are requested to download there admit card by using their credentials like name and application number and date of birth as a password. It has details like Roll number, Examination center, date and time of reporting, etc.

Result:

You can download the result by using the roll number and date of birth as a password, after taking the examination and evaluation of answer sheets, the conducting authority might announce the result after a month from the examination. Aspirants are suggested to check their results at the web portal of the Board. They can download results as well.

Cut off and Counseling:

After the Result declaration official authority will display cut-off marks and according to that merit list will be prepared and qualifies candidates to call for the counseling procedure. Candidates must have to bring all required documents along with them at the time of counseling.
