CSIR NET 2023: The CSIR, or Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Human Resource Development Group’s Examination Team commences the CSIR UGC NET examination for Junior Research Fellowship and Eligibility for Lectureship. This entrance exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is organized two times a year in more than 200 cities. It is a national-level exam for a lectureship or junior research fellowship. The examination aims to choose eligible candidates for the post. CSIR UGC NET 2023 Application Form:

There is a proviso for the online form for filling out the application so as not to worry. You need to download the form and fill in all the details carefully. CSIR NET Application Fee:

Make sure for paying the application fee cost through a bank challan. The fee for General category candidates is Rs.1100/- and those belonging to the OBC category need to pay Rs.550/-. Those who belong to SC/ ST/ PH Category are required to submit Rs.270/-. Candidates are required to submit the fee in any branch of the Indian Bank located within the geographical boundaries of India country by paying in cash. Applicants from  Srinagar and Imphal can deposit fees via RTGS or NEFT by providing particulars of the Indian Bank, as mentioned in the fee deposit challan.

CSIR NET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nationality: All candidates must be a Citizen of India to apply for the CSIR NET Exam.
  • Age Criteria: Those who are below 28 years of age may apply for the exam. There is an age relaxation of 5 years for SC / ST / OBC-NCL / Physically or Visually handicapped and female candidates
  • Qualification: Candidates who possess an M.Sc or some equivalent degree/ Integrated BS-MS/BE/ BS-4 years/B.Tech/B.Pharma/MBBS with a minimum of 55% marks can apply for the examination
  • Appearing Candidate: Candidates can apply who are in the final year of exam qualifying.

Exam Pattern:

There are various subjects for CSIR UGC NET 2023 Exam and each of them has a different marking scheme. The Exam is divided into three different parts. Find below the UGC NET 2023 Exam Pattern:

  • CSIR UGC NET 2023 will conduct through Online Mode.
  • There will be 3 sections in the Exam i.e, Part A, Part B & Part C.

Salary:

Salary after CSIR NET JRF:

  • A fellowship of Rs. 31000/- + HRA per month (CSIR institutes) will be given to the selected candidates for 2 years.
  • A fellowship of Rs. 35000/- + HRA per month (CSIR institutes) will given to the selected candidates for 3 years.

CSIR NET Assistant Professor Salary:

  • The candidates can get a salary in the range of Rs.30,000/- to Rs.40,000/- per month in the starting phase based on the college/institutes.

Cut Off:

The cutoff marks of the examination are the minimum marks attained to seek shortlisted fellowships. Cut-off marks are declared for every subject. The cut off is created considering factors such as:

  • Number of candidates appearing
  • Number of seats available
  • The difficulty level of question paper
