Central Teacher Eligibility Test is organized every year for finding suitable teachers in various schools like KVS, NVS, etc. If you are highly interested to join these reputed schools then fetch the below-mentioned information. The first paper will be conducted for those who are wanted to teach students of classes I-V and the second paper will be conducted for those willing to teach students of classes VI-VIII.

Those who attain 60% or above will be considered as TET pass. All the qualifying candidates will be provided with the certificate and this certificate will be applicable for the next 7 years from the date of result declaration.

CTET 2022 Application Form:

Interested candidates for CTET can apply for it by filling out the application form. The guidelines for filling out the application form are given below.
  • Log in to the official website for an application form.
  • Then click on the link “apply online”
  • Register yourself by filling in all the details asked in the form.
  • A registration ID and password will be sent to your provided email Id and phone number. Then log in using it.
  • Fill in all the other important details asked in the application form like personal and qualification details.
  • Upload scanned documents like photographs and signatures.
  • Make the Payment of the application fee and check the details before you submit a form.
  • Make sure to take out the printout of the application form for future use.

Application fee:

The application fees can be submitted online mode by debit card, credit card, net banking, etc, or through E-Challan of Syndicate bank or Canara bank.

CTET 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

Find below the CTET Application Form Eligibility Criteria for the Class 1st to 5th and 6th to 8th Teaches:

Eligibility for Becoming a Teacher for Classes I-V:

  • Candidate must have completed class XII or intermediate or some equivalent examination from some recognized school/ institute with at least 50% marks for unreserved category and 40% for reserved category.
  • The candidate is required to have done diploma in elementary education for two years.
  • The candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in elementary education.

Eligibility for Becoming a Teacher for Classes VI-VIII (elementary stage):

  • Candidate must have acquired a Bachelor’s degree in any of the streams with a minimum of 50% marks and 40% for those belonging to the reserved category through some recognized college and university.
  • Candidate must be attained a diploma in elementary education or 2 years duration and a bachelor of elementary education.
  • Those who are appearing in the final year of the examination can also apply.

Exam Pattern:

For Paper I (for Classes I to V) Primary Stage:

  • The child Development and Pedagogy category will be for 30 marks for 30 MCQs.
  • Language II is a compulsory section to conduct and will be 30 marks for 30 MCQs.
  • Language I is a compulsory section to conduct and will be 30 marks for 30 MCQs.
  • The Environmental Studies section will be for 30 marks for 30 MCQs.
  • The mathematics section will be for 30 marks for 30 MCQs.
  • The exam duration will be for 150 minutes.

For Paper II (for Classes VI to VIII) Elementary Stage:

  • Child Development & Pedagogy will be a compulsory section for 30 marks for 30 MCQs.
  • Language II will be a compulsory section for 30 marks for 30 MCQs.
  • The language I will be a compulsory section for 30 marks for 30 MCQs.
  • Social Studies/Social Science (for Social Studies/Social Science teacher) for 60 marks for 60 MCQs.
  • The exam duration will be for 150minutes.

Admit Card:

  • Download the admit card via the official website of CTET.
  • Take your admit card to the examination center on the fixed date.
  • In case of any discrepancy in admit card, immediately contact the CTET Unit for making corrections.

Answer Key:

  • All leading newspapers will bring to notice the candidates about answer keys.
  • Access the answer key on the official website.
  • Download the answer key at the given time.
  • Make sure for paying Rs.500/- per photocopy of the OMR sheet through Demand Draft.
  • The demand draft should be on any Nationalized Bank in the favor of the Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education payable at Delhi.

Result:

  • The result will be declared on the official website through online mode.
  • The Candidates can check their results there.
  • The candidate scoring more than 60% marks will be considered qualified.
