DAHET 2017 Application Form, Exam Pattern & Notification

DAHET 2017: Eligible candidates are selected via the DAHET or the Diploma in Animal Husbandry Entrance Test, by the MP Vyapam, to induct t hem into various diploma training institutes across Madhya Pradesh. This is not a recruitment test, but an entrance test conducted by the P.E.B. A total of 300 seats is available for fulfilment, of which, a total of 150 seats is available for unreserved category candidates. Out of the 150, 30 seats are reserved for payment seat candidates belonging to the UR category. So, a total of 120 free seats is available for a candidate belonging to UR category, with the number of free seats for female candidates available equaling 72. The DAHET 2017 examination is scheduled to be held on 21st May 2017.

DAHET 2017 Application Form:

The application form, a detailed notification with rule book is expected to be available at MP Vyapam websites two months prior to the examination (tentatively in March 2017). The candidates are advised to go through the rule book thoroughly before applying online. The candidate belonging to UR category is required to pay an amount of Rs 400, and an additional Rs 70 as a portal fee, when paying via online webgate. The candidate is advised to fill all the details correctly and hit submit button only when he/she has ascertained that all details are correct. The candidate must take the printout of Admit card from the website and take along with it, a proof of identity to the examination hall.

DAHET Eligibility 2017:

The candidate must be a domicile of Madhya Pradesh, and must be at least 17 years of age as on December 31st in the year of the examination. The candidate’s age should not be more than 28  years. Eligible candidates with appropriate documents for age relaxation according to Government norms may also apply. The candidate must have passed the 12th /10+2/higher secondary examination or any equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The reserved category candidates are allowed 5% relaxation in the aggregate. The applicant is entitled to reservation in a single category only.

DAHET 2017 Notification:

The notification for the Diploma in Animal Husbandry Entrance Test will be, available on the official MP Vyapam website and the Professional Exam Board website. The detailed notification is expected three months prior to the examination date (tentatively in February 2017). The tentative examination schedules for the year 2017 have been given on the websites, and the detailed notifications are expected as and when the appropriate board decides to publish them.

DAHET Exam Pattern 2017:

The examination tests the candidate’s proficiency in Physics, Chemistry (covering General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry and Inorganic Chemistry), and General Studies (covering General Science & Environment, Geography, History, Sport & culture of MP, Information and Communication Technology). The examination consists of 100 Multiple choice questions, out of which Physics and Chemistry sections are allotted 40 questions each. The General studies section is allotted 20 questions. Each question carries 1 mark. Maximum marks awarded is 100, a correct entry earns one mark. There is no negative marking. The duration of the examination is two hours.
