DU Admission 2022DU Admission 2022: Delhi University, popularly known as DU was established in the year 1992. The university holds an entrance examination for admission in the various graduate as well as undergraduate courses. Students will have to apply based on their merit. There is an admission in some of these courses that will be done based on the merit of the students. These students will then have to appear for the entrance examination.

The eligible and the interested candidates will be able to apply for the test in the online mode only. You will be able to get the application form for UG admission 2022 from the month of May 2022. The application form for the PG courses will, however, be available from the month of June 2022.

DU Admission 2022 Application Form:

The application form will be available online and the candidates will be able to fill it from the available portal. In order to fill-up the form, the candidate will have to first fill up both the personal as well the academic details. They will also require scanned copies of certain documents and those have to upload in the forms. There will be certain forms that will have an asterisk sign and it is mandatory to fill up those fields. When the candidate fills up the form, he or she will also have to rate the various colleges in order of preference. By filling up an application form, the candidate will be eligible to take admission in a number of colleges. It is very important to ensure that the candidate does not make any mistakes in the application form. In case there are any mistakes, those can be edited by logging in with the details. This is, however, possible only till the time you have not paid the fee. After paying the fee, you will not be able to make any changes in the form.

Delhi University Application Fee:

The payment of the fee will be done online and you can use a debit or a credit card to make the payment. Once paid, this fee cannot be refunded.

DU Admission 2022 Fee:

UG Admission – The duration for the examination for the under graduation admission test in DU will be 2 hours. The number of questions that the candidate will have to attend will be 100 and all these will be multiple choice questions. The candidate will be given 4 marks for each of the correct answers and 1 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The important topics that are included are Reasoning and Analytical ability, Quantitative ability, Business and General awareness and General Awareness.

PG admission- The examination will be conducted in the offline mode and the duration for the examination will be 2 hours. There will be multiple choice questions for this particular test.

Eligibility Criteria and Syllabus:

  • UG Admission: For DU Admission 2022 in the different vocational courses, the candidate will have to pass the class XII examination with a minimum of 40% marks. For getting admission in B.Com(Hons) course, the candidate will have to pass the examination with a minimum of 45% marks. The candidate will also need to have both Mathematics as well as Business Mathematics in the syllabus. The candidates who want to take an admission in the B.Sc ( Hons) in Mathematics courses will have to pass the examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks and he or she will have to get 50% marks in For B.Sc(Hons) in Chemistry/ Physics/Electronics/Polymer Science/Instrumentation the candidate has to clear the 10+2 examination with an aggregate of 55% and 50% in any of the languages that are compulsory. The candidates who want to pursue BA (Hons) in Business Economics or Bachelor in Management Studies or Bachelor in Business Administration will have to pass the class XII examination with 60% marks in aggregate. He or she will need to have Mathematics, English and also two other mandatory subjects.
  • PG Admission: – Women who want to complete B.Ed in Special Education will have to get 50% marks in the Bachelors or Masters Degree in Social Science/Humanities/Commerce/Science. People who have completed a B.Tech or BE degree in Science and Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate will also be eligible to apply. Candidates who want to get a Post graduation degree in LLB need to get a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. OBC candidates need to have a minimum of 45% marks and SC/ST candidates will need to have a minimum of 40% marks. Candidates who want to pursue an MA in Buddhist Studies will have to complete either a Bachelors’s or a Masters degree in any subject from a recognized university with at least 40% marks. If a candidate wants to pursue an MA/MSC in Mathematics, then he will have to complete a Bachelors degree in Mathematics with 50% in the aggregate. On the other hand, candidates who have a BA(Hons) or BSC (Hons) degree in Mathematics from the Delhi University itself needs to have 60% marks in the aggregate. They will be given admission based on their merit. Candidates who want to pursue MCA from DU should have a Bachelors degree from Delhi University with Mathematics Science or any other degree that is equivalent.

Delhi University 2022 Admit Card:

The Delhi University Admit Card for the examination will be available in the online registration account. The candidate will have to download the admit card and carry the print out of it in the examination hall. This Admit card will have all the important details of the candidate and candidates who do not carry the admit card will not be allowed to appear for the examination.

Result:

The result of the examination will be declared on the official website of Delhi University. The candidates will be able to view their results with their date of birth and their roll number. The candidates who will be allowed seats will have to contact the university for further details.

DU Admission 2022 Cut Off & Answer Key:

The answer key is published a few days after the results are declared. The candidates will be able to check the answers and will also be able to challenge it if required. A merit list will also be declared along with the result. This will be based on the marks that they get in the entrance examination.
