Goa University Admission 2023: Goa University came into being under the Goa University Act of 1984. It has been accredited Grade ‘A’ from The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The University comprises 56 affiliated colleges providing professional and general education. The University offers immense of undergraduate, postgraduate studies and research programmes for the aspirants looking forward to acquiring admission. Before you opt for Goa University Admission 2023, collect all the important details given below:

Eligibility Criteria:

  • To apply for BE, applicants must have done GCET for BE only and must have successfully completed class XII from some recognized board.
  • To apply for BSc B.Ed, applicants must have done GCET for BE only and must have successfully completed class XII from some recognized board.
  • To apply for BDS/MBBS, the candidate must have successfully qualified NEET examination. Applicant must have completed class XII with at least 45% aggregate with PCB or equivalent course.
  • To apply for MCA, the candidate must have successfully completed GU-ART. Candidate must have acquired at least 50% aggregate in graduation from some recognised university.

Goa University Application Process 2023:

Check the application process given below:

  • Go to the official website, viz. – www.unigoa.ac.in
  • Click on the ‘Systems’ tab, ‘Admission’ tab when the drop-down of systems tab appears
  • Register by providing a valid email id and password
  • Candidates will then log in with the credentials created
  • Enter all the details such as academic details, address, parent’s information, etc correctly.
  • Scan and upload photograph and signature along with the required documents
  • Take a printout of the application form for further requirements.

Application Fee:

Submit the application fee via net banking or debit/credit card or Demand Draft in favor of ‘Goa University payable at Panaji, Goa, the details of the application fee are mentioned below:

  • For Undergraduate and postgraduate courses, submit the application fee of Rs 400/- (General category) and Rs 250/- (SC/ ST category)
  • For MPhil and Ph.D. courses, submit the application fee is Rs 600/- (General category) & Rs 300 (SC/ ST category)

Documents to be uploaded applying for UG programmes:

  • Latest passport-size photographs
  • Class XII statement of marks or its equivalent exam.
  • Birth certificate from a competent authority
  • Bonafide student certificate (if applicable)
  • Leaving Certificate/Transfer certificate from the last attended school or college
  • Non-Migrant caste certificate
  • Physically Handicapped certificate (if applicable)

Documents to be uploaded for Post Graduate programmes:

  • Two recent passport-size photographs
  • UG mark sheets and passing certificate
  • Birth certificate from a competent authority
  • Caste certificate
  • Bonafide student certificate (if applicable)
  • Leaving/Transfer certificate from school or college last attended
  • Non-Migrant Caste certificate
  • Physically Handicapped certificate (if applicable)

  • To apply for admission, go to the official website www.unigoa.ac.in
  • In order to attain admission to the BE programme, the merit is based on the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) commenced by the Director of Technical Education (DTE)
  • For BAMS & BPharm, candidates are selected on the basis of merit in the GCET exam commenced by DTE
  • For admission to the MBBS programme, candidates will be selected on the basis of rank acquired in the NEET exam
  • Candidates are chosen on the basis of scores attained in XAT and CMAT followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview round
  • For MPhil and PhD programmes, admission is based on an entrance test commenced by the university itself. However, candidates with CSIR NET/UGC NET/GATE/SLT/JRF/ICAR or ICMR are exempted from the test
