GSET 2022 is shortened for Gujarat State Eligibility Test. The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara will be responsible for releasing the official notification of GSET 2022. This test will be commenced to select the eligible candidates for the job of professors in the state of Gujarat. The application form to apply for GSET 2022 will be released in the month of April 2022 and tests will take place in 11 different centers across Gujarat. GSET 2022 Application form:

• To apply for GSET 2022, first apply via the application form.
• Candidates are required to fill all the personal and educational details within the form after obtaining the application form.
• After getting done with the filling of the application form, upload the scanned copies of recent passport size photograph and signature.
• Make a payment of the application fee which will be Rs. 800/- and Rs. 700/- for SC/ PH/ ST/VH and Transgender candidates.
• Go to the SBI website and pay the application fee.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Those who have Master’s Degree in Humanities, scientific discipline, Science, engineering science or equivalent with at least 55% marks may apply for the examination.
• Those who belong to the category such as ST/PWD/ SC/SEBC/VH or Transgender categories need only 50% marks in the qualifying test.
• Those who are appearing in the final year of the qualifying degree test may apply for Exam. It is important to complete the Master’s degree within two years of the declaration of GSET 2022 result with the applicable percentage otherwise they will be disqualified.
• Those who have PH.D. degree and completed Master’s degree by September 19, 1992, will be considered applicable for a relaxation of 50 marks in the qualifying test.

Exam Pattern:

• Paper I will have 50 questions and all questions are mandatory to attempt. Each question will let you attain 2 marks.
• Paper-II will have 100 questions and all questions are mandatory to attempt. Each question will let you attain 2 marks.
• Both Papers will have objective type questions
• Paper I will be consisted of questions in categories such as divergent thinking, reasoning ability, comprehension, and general awareness, etc.
• Paper II will be consisted of questions from the subjects selected by candidates during the time of filling the application form.
• It is important to note that there will be no negative marking and paper revaluation.

GSET Exam Syllabus:

• The syllabus for GSET 2022 will be similar to UGC net or CSIR net. Candidates may download the subject wise syllabus from the website www.gujaratset.ac.in
• Candidates will come across 23 Subjects in test. The candidates can select the specific subject while filling the application form.
• The list of 23 Subjects will be as follows: Law, Commerce, Philosophy, Psychology, Management, English, Education, Economics, Mathematical Science, Sociology, History, Physical Science, Home Science, Physical Education, Geography, Computer Science and Applications, Chemical Science, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Life Science, Political Science, Library and Information Sciences, and Hindi

Admit Card:

Those who fulfill the eligibility criteria and submit the application form successfully will get the admit card. Download the admit card from the official website of the maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. The Candidate will get application form a week prior the date of Exam. A candidate cannot appear for the exam without admit card.

Exam Result:

GSET Exam result will be announced on the fixed date. The Exam result will be declared within two weeks after the test. Candidates cannot insist exam conducting authority for paper re-evaluation.
