Gujarat ITI Admission 2022 Application Form, Syllabus, Exam Date, Eligibility

Gujarat ITI Admission 2022 will be commenced by the Directorate of Employment & Training (DET), Government of Gujarat. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted for admission into various Engineering & Non-Engineering trades offered by various ITIs in Gujarat. It crucial to note that there will be no separate admission test for ITI Gujarat. Admission will be given in various fields and will be given to the eligible candidates according to the merit prepared on the basis of qualifying marks.

Gujarat ITI Admission 2022 Application Form:

• Collect the application form from the official website via online mode.
• Fill the application form and submit it prior to the last date.
• While you fill the application form, upload the scanned image of the passport size photograph & signature.
• Ensure that the scanned image of a photograph must be in JPEG format with a size of less than 50 KB in size.
• Also, ensure to fill all the details correctly and once you submit the form, the candidate cannot make any changes.
• Make sure to provide in use operating email ID and phone number in the application form for communication details.
• It is important for candidates to note that incomplete application form will not be entertained, so fill the form correctly and clearly.
• Also, ensure that you fulfill the eligibility criteria.
• Take multiple print outs of the application form for further use.

Application Fee:

• Submit the application fee via online mode.
• The application fee will be Rs.50.
• The mode of payment can be credit card, debit card or net-banking.
• Once you pay the application form, it will not be refunded.

Eligibility Criteria:

• It is important for candidates to successfully complete class XII or equivalent from the recognized board or university.
• Those who have acquired the domicile certificate of Gujarat state issued by the competent authority can also apply for the examination.
• Candidate’s age must be at least 14 years.
• There will be age relaxation age as per the government rules for those belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC category.

Gujarat ITI Admission Process:

The admission process will be based on the merit list. The admission process consisted of the application form, written test, merit list, counseling procedure and then admission in ITI Gujarat.

Gujarat ITI Admission 2022 Merit List:

The merit list will be prepared and will also be published online. This will be prepared on the basis of the marks acquired by the candidates in the qualifying examination and candidate’s eligibility. DET will be responsible for preparing various merit lists including common merit, merit list of women, SC/ ST merit list, merit list for social backward class and for economically weaker section. Those who find their name in the merit list will attend the counselling round. Those who successfully qualify according to the merit list will next be called for the counselling process.

Counselling:

Counseling will be commenced by the university and it will also be compulsory for all the candidates to appear for counseling process for admission in the university.

Overall, there will be three rounds as per the number of vacant seats. During counseling procedure, candidates will select the number of colleges and will have to lock their seats. Candidates will also submit original and attested copies of documents for verification. Following are the documents needed during counseling:

• High school 10th mark sheet
• 10th certificate
• Valid ID proof
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• Transfer certificate
• Medical certificate
• School leaving certificate
• Caste certificate (if required)
• Bank account number
