Haryana M.Sc Nursing 2023: The Department of Medical Education & Research conducts the Haryana M.Sc Nursing every year for providing admission to the 2-year M.Sc Nursing program. The Entrance Examination, as well as marks obtained in subsequent tests and personal interviews, are the most standard process of admission to the M.Sc Nursing course.

Candidates aspiring to take admission to the M.Sc Nursing program in their desired specialization must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the conducting body. Haryana M.Sc Nursing application forms are released on the official website. Eligible candidates seeking admission must visit the website and fill out the application form as per the guidelines. Candidates failing to fill out the application form in a correct manner will not receive their admit cards and will be barred from the entrance examination.

  • The application form will appear on the screen
  • Fill out the application form with all the necessary information asked in the form. Candidates will be asked to fill in personal and educational information.

Haryana M.Sc Nursing Eligibility Criteria 2023

Candidates willing to pursue an M.Sc Nursing course must fulfill the eligibility requirement set by the conducting body. Interested candidates can check the detailed eligibility criteria below:

  • Candidates must have earned a minimum of 55 percent aggregate in B.Sc. Nursing, B.Sc. Hons. Nursing, or Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council – accredited college of nursing. Candidates from the SC/ST/BC categories with a minimum of 50% in the aggregate may be eligible to take the Entrance Exam.
  • Candidates, after Basic B.Sc. Nursing/ B.Sc. Nursing Honors must have at least one year of professional experience in a recognized institute or must have at least one year of professional experience in a recognized institute after or before Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing. The job experience will be counted from the date of registration in the parent council till the deadline for applying.
  • Candidates must be registered nurses and midwives with a state nursing registration council or similar. Aside from that, aspirants must have been deemed medically fit by the medical board of PGIMS Rohtak.

Exam Pattern:

  • The duration of the exam is 3 hrs (180 minutes)
  • There will be a total of 180 questions asked in the exam. The questions will be of objective type.
  • Each question carries one mark.
  • Negative marking is not applicable in the exam

Admit Card:

Haryana M.Sc Nursing admit cards are released on the official website. Candidates who have successfully registered themselves will be able to download their admit cards using their application number and other credentials. The admit card should have the photo of the candidate along with the signature and address of the exam center. Any important information missing out from the admit card should be reported to the authorities by the candidate at the earliest.

Result:

Haryana’s M.Sc Nursing result is released on the official website of the conducting body after the successful conclusion of the entrance examination. Using their roll number and date of birth, candidates will be able to check their results. Candidates are recommended to print their results because they will be asked about them during the counseling session. The processes for downloading the Haryana M.Sc Nursing result are as follows:

  • Go to the official website of the conducting body
  • Click on the ‘M.Sc Nursing Result’ link
  • Enter your roll number and date of birth
  • The result will display on the candidate’s screen after entering the credentials
  • Download and save the result

Counseling:

After the announcement of the M.Sc Nursing result, selected candidates will be invited for the counseling round. The counseling round involves a document verification process and a final seat allotment process. Once the counseling round is over, candidates will be allotted seats in colleges where candidates have to report on a specific date & time.

Candidates are required to carry certain documents during the counseling round which are as follows:

  • Xth Marksheet
  • XIIth Marksheet
  • Graduation Marksheet
  • Migration Certificate from the last attended institute
  • Copy of the Result & Admit Card
  • Caste Certificate, if applicable
  • Passport size photographs
  • Photo ID (Aadhar Card)
