Haryana Civil Services 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate must have attained a degree of graduation from some recognized university in the streams like Science, Arts, Commerce, and technical subjects.
  • Candidate must be of age 21 (minimum) and 40 (maximum) to apply for the examination.
  • If you are applying for the post of DSP, then your age should be between 21 to 27 years of age on or before 1st January of the exam year.
  • Candidate must meet the following physical standard for the post of Deputy Superintendent of Police:
  • A male with a height of 170.18 cm, chest 33″, and chest expansion 34.5″ is eligible to apply for the post.
  • A female with a height of 157.50 cm can apply.

Application Fee:

  • Those who belong to the General category including male and female and all reserved category candidates of Haryana need to pay Rs 1000
  • Male candidates of General Category including Dependent Son of Ex-Servicemen of Haryana, need to pay Rs.1000
  • Candidates belonging to SC/BC/ESM and PH ortho with 40% Disability categories of Haryana only need to pay Rs.250
  • Female Candidates (General Category) including Female Dependent of ESM of Haryana need to pay Rs.250
  • Application fee cost for General Category of Haryana can make payment of Rs.1050 by post.
  • The cost of the Application form is Rs.300 for the Reserved Category of Haryana by post.

Exam Pattern:

Find below the Haryana Civil Services 2022 Exam Pattern:

  • The Preliminary Exam consisted of two papers Objective type (multiple choice questions).
  • The examination comprises of 200 marks.
  • Paper-I consisted of General Studies for 100 marks for 2 hours time duration.
  • Paper-II consisted of an optional subject to be chosen from the list of 19 subjects, for 100 marks for a duration of 2 hours.

Main Examination:

Those who successfully qualify Stage 1 will move onto the Main Examination which includes the following details:

  • Paper-I consisted of English (Including English Essay) for 100 marks.
  • Paper-II consisted of Hindi (including Hindi Essay) in Devnagri script for 100 marks
  • Paper-III consisted of General Studies for 100 marks
  • Paper-IV consisted of two subjects to be chosen from the list of 23 subjects mentioned below:
  • Viva Voce will be 75 Marks.
  • Haryana PSC Recruitment 2022 Exam will Total 675 Marks.

Engineering Subjects comprises of Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering-not more than one subject

Personality Test /Interview:

The interview is the last stage of the HCS exam. Those who are shortlisted in the written examination will move for Interviews. It comprises 75 marks. The HCS interviews are conducted in Panchkula at the commission’s premises.

Admit Card:

The Admit Card will be released separately for both the Exam i.e, Prelims & Mains Exam. It has information about the Exam like the exam center, timings for the exam, roll number. HPSC uploads the admit cards for all the recruitment online. Candidates have to download the Admit Card from the official website.

HPSC Answer Key:

After the Exam, the Answer Key will be released. Candidates can check the answer and if there is any incorrect answer in the HPSC answer key, objections can be raised against it. As per HPSC, only objections are accepted. The objections send through post/email/other method are not considered. Along with the objection, HPSC asks to upload appropriate evidence from an authentic source like a book or journal.

HPSC Result:

The HPSC Result will be declared on the website of HPSC. Candidates can check the HPSC result by visiting the official website. In the HPSC result PDF, vacancies, roll number of the selected candidates are mentioned.

  • A person can apply for Haryana pcs who belongs from other states. Is there relaxation in upper age limit for SC candidates.

    • Yes madam it is necessary to chose only one language for preliminary and also same for main examination .HCS is more like UPSC .a little diffence is that HCS is state commission and UPSC is nation commission
