IARI Assistant Recruitment 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Find the eligibility conditions to apply for IARI Assistant Recruitment 2023:

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • The applicant must be a graduate or equivalent from the recognized Board to apply.
  • The applicant’s age must be between 20 years to 30 years. The maximum age limit is 45 years as on 1st June 20242. However, SC/ST category candidates will get an age relaxation of 5 years, Other Backward Classes (non-creamy Layer) will get 3 years and Persons with Benchmark Disability will get age relaxation of 10 years
  • Candidate applying for the post must be either:
    • A citizen of India,
    • A citizen of Nepal,
    • A citizen of Bhutan,
    • A Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January 1962 to settle permanently in India,
    • A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia Malawi, Zaira, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the motive to settle permanently in India.

Selection Process:

The eligible applicants will be selected based on three stage selection procedure Prelims, Mains test commenced by the exam conducting authority. The shortlisted candidates through Prelims & Mains will appear for Skill Test (Computer Proficiency Test). The minimum qualifying marks in Preliminary & Mains Examinations should be less than:

  • UR-30%
  • OBC/ EWS-25%
  • SC/ST/Divyang-20%

The Merit list will be prepared based on the overall performance of the applicants in Paper – I, Paper-II of the Mains Examinations

IARI Assistant Recruitment 2023 Exam Pattern:

The authority will commence two different tests-Prelims and Mains and applicants who have cleared the exam will be shortlisted for the skill test. Check the examination pattern given below:

  • There will be 100 Multiple Choice Questions for 2 marks each
  • There will be a deduction of 1/3rd mark for an incorrect answer.
  • Each section consisted of 25 questions.
  • The Prelims examination will be for 60 minutes and scribe candidates will get 80 minutes to complete the paper.

Prelims Exam Pattern:

  • Part A- General Intelligence consisted of 25 questions for 50 marks
  • Part B- General Awareness consisted of 25 questions for 50 marks
  • Part C-Quantitative Aptitude consisted of 25 questions for 50 marks
  • Section C-English consisted of 25 questions for 50 marks

Mains Exam Pattern:

  • Paper I will consist of objective type questions and Paper II will be descriptive type questions
  • The candidate will get 120 minutes to complete Paper-I and 60 minutes to complete Paper-II.
  • The Descriptive paper will consist of questions based on essay writing, precis, letter, applications, etc.
  • Paper, I will consist of Quantitative Abilities and English Comprehension with 50 questions for 100 marks. The candidate needs to complete Paper 1 in 2 hours.
  • Paper II will be a Descriptive Paper (English & Hindi) for 100 marks. The candidate needs to complete paper II in one hour.

Skill Test:

Those who clear the Prelims and Mains examination will appear for Assistant Skill Test (Computer Proficiency Test). The candidate will get 15 minutes to complete the CPT paper. It is qualifying in nature and candidates need to appear for the Computer Proficiency Test which will be consisted of three modules such as – Word Processing, Spreadsheet, and Generation of Slides.

Admit Card:

The admit card will be released in online mode. Check the official website to download the admit card. It will consist of the exam details and personal information.
