IBPS PO 2017 will soon release the notification about the recruitment of the PO (Probationary Officer) in the various banks that comes under public sector. This known examination will take place in two different phases i.e. Prelims and Main Exam. Interested candidates can avail the form online and fill it to get appointed as PO in the banks.

IBPS PO 2017 – Eligibility Criteria Details :

  • Candidate need to have done graduation from some recognized university or from some equivalent university
  • Age: Those who are in between 20 and 30 can be the part of this examination. There is age relaxation for reserve category candidates

IBPS PO 2017 – Exam Important Date :

Application Fee details :

Submit the amount the Rs. 600 via through internet banking facility. You can pay via online mode as well else make use of credit card and debit card. Rs 100 is the relevant amount for those who belong to categories like SC, ST and PwD.

Selection Procedure Details :

  2. Preliminary Examination comprises of Objective Type Questions for 100 Marks
  3. Main Examination comprises of Objective Type Questions for 200 Marks
  4. Interview contains 100 Marks

The preliminary exam will be considered as the qualifying in nature. The marks acquired in Prelims nothing to add for selection plus the marks attained in main exam as well as interview will be considered as relevant.

Exam Pattern and Syllabus Details:

Prelim Exam: There is online mode for Preliminary examination. This examination comprises of Objective Type questions and that too for 100 marks. These questions divided amongst the sections such as English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and lastly Reasoning Ability. Time capacity is one hour and negative marking will be there. Every correct answer will be given 1 mark and deduction of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. If the question is not attempted then there will be no negative marking for it. Language for exam is English and Hindi

Main Examination: This will be online examination with time duration of 2 hours. There will be 200 Objective Type questions for 200marks each which are divided into sections like Reasoning, into five sections such as (1) Reasoning, (2) English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and lastly Computer Knowledge. Every correct answer will be given 1 mark and deduction of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. If the question is not attempted then there will be no negative marking for it. Language for exam is English and Hindi

Interview: Those who have done with the main examination will be given a call for interview. It contains 100 marks.

Admit Card Details :

There will be three admit cards issued by PO, One for Prelims, another for main exam and last one for interview. Download the admit card from official Website.

Cut Off Details :

Cut off implies that minimum scored marks for qualifying prelims as well as main examination. There is a requirement for candidate to acquire minimum marks in every section like in main as well as in Prelims.
