ICFAI University Admission 2023: ICFAI, The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI) University, situated in West Tripura, is approved by UGC, NCTE, and Distance Education Council (DEC). It was founded in 2004. The University offers an immense of courses at levels of UG, PG, Diploma, and Research. It proffers courses in fields such as Arts, Science, Commerce, Engineering, Computer Application, Law, etc. It also provides courses in different disciplines as well.

ICFAI University Admission 2023 Admission Details:

  • If you are interested in applying for the desired course and to the course, you are fit into then apply through the application procedure. Here is the entire process:
  • The application process is an online process for the desired course.
  • To acquire admission in an undergraduate course, the minimum qualification of the applicant should be 10+2 with at least 45% marks.
  • Those who have completed graduation may apply for a Master’s course
  • D courses require the minimum qualification of post-graduation in the concerned discipline. Applicants must have acquired at least 55% aggregate marks to acquire admission to the Ph.D. program.
  • Selection to the Law courses such as LLB and LLM is done based on the applicant’s performance via national/ state/ university level law entrance examination including LSAT or CLAT.
  • The B.Tech courses require admission via ITSAT/Tripura JEE/JEE Mains.
  • Admission to PG and UG courses is based on merit via application screening and interview.
  • 25% of seats are reserved for applicants belonging to Tripura in any course of ICFAI University, Tripura.

Undergraduate Admission:

Here are some essential admission details at the Undergraduate level:

  • ICFAI offers several courses at the UG level in various streams such as Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering, Law, Computer Application, and so on. In addition to undergraduate courses, the university also provides five-year integrated courses in Law and Computer Application.
  • Admission to the B.Tech courses is based on ICFAI Tech School Admission Test (ITSAT)/ Tripura JEE/ JEE Mains, whereas admission to the Law courses commenced via Law School Admission Test (LSAT)/ Common Law Admissions Test (CLAT). As far as other courses are concerned, admission is based on merit issued by the admission cell of the institute as well as interviews.
  • Admission to B.Tech Program is dependent on the applicant’s performance in class XII with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as mandatory subjects and attained a minimum of 45% aggregate marks.
  • To do B. Ed, the applicant must have done graduation or post-graduation in any stream with at least 55% aggregate marks. For the other courses, applicants must have acquired a minimum of 45% marks in any stream in class XII.

Documents Required for Admission:

  • Applicants must bring their original and self-attested copies of the academic qualification certificates and domicile certificate during document verification and the final phase of admission.
  • Those who possess the Diploma in Engineering must have acquired at least 45% marks for B.Tech Lateral Entry Admissions.

PG & PGDM Admissions:

  • At Post Graduation level, several courses are available in Business Administration, Arts, Computer Applications, Law, Mathematics, and Library & Information Science. In addition to this, it also offers PG Diploma in Yoga and Library Automation & Networking.
  • Admission to the post-graduate courses is based on the merit list sent by the institute issued after the interview. And those who have done graduation are eligible for admission.
  • To acquire admission in LLM, the applicant must be possessed the relevant ICFAI Law School Admission Test. Those who have completed graduation in Law with at least 55% marks may apply for the LLM course.

MBA Specializations:

Eligibility for PG Level Courses:

  • MBA and MA (Education): Applicant must have completed graduation with at least 45% aggregate marks. Selection is based on Interview and Merit List
  • MA (English): The candidate must have done graduation in any discipline with at least 45% aggregate marks and 40% marks in English
  • MCA: A Graduate in any discipline with Mathematics as one of the subjects in class XII.
  • LLM: Applicant must have done LLB/Integrated LLB with 55% aggregate marks
  • M.Sc (Mathematics): Applicant must be a graduate of Mathematics with 40% marks. Selection is based on Interview and Merit List
  • M.Lib.I.Sc: A Graduation is mandatory
  • PGDM in Yoga also requires graduation at least.
  • PGDM in Library Automation & Networking requires graduation in Library & Information Science

Ph.D. Admissions:

The institute offers full-time research courses in different disciplines. Admission is based on merit through the applicant’s scores in SLET/ UGC NET/ GATE. Candidate must be possessed the Master’s degree in the concerned disciplines with at least 55% aggregate marks.
