You have the option of filling up the application form both online as well as offline. The candidate will have to choose journalism in English or Hindi and fill up the application form accordingly. The application forms will be available from the third week of March 2022. The application form for each of the courses will be very much different. In order to fill up an offline application form, you will have to use a black ink pen. You will also have to paste a photograph on the application form and this photograph needs to be of passport size. It is important to fill up all the details accurately. An application form that is wrongly filled will get rejected. If you are sending an offline form, then you will also have to send the DD along with the form. The application fee will be Rs.1500 and for reserved category candidates the fee will be Rs.1000. If the candidate is filling up the application form online then he can either use a debit/credit card or he may use a demand draft favoring “IIMC New Delhi”

The candidate who is appearing for this particular examination has to be a citizen of India. The NRIs are not eligible to appear for the written examination. The NRI candidates have to fill up separate forms. The applicants who were born either on the 1st of August 1995 or born after this date will be eligible to apply for the examination. There will be a relaxation given to all the applicants who belong to the reserved category and the ones who are physically handicapped. The candidates will need to have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
This examination will be conducted offline and the duration for the examination will be 2 hours. the type of questions that will be asked will be the descriptive type of questions and the medium will depend upon the program that the candidate will select. The maximum marks that the candidate will be able o score will be 85%.

The syllabus will actually vary from one course to another. It will actually depend on the subjects that the candidate will choose. Some of the common topics that are included in the syllabus are analytical and comprehension skills, language skills, ethics and values, sensitivity to the social issues, general awareness about public issues and also about development and also the lateral thinking capabilities.
The IIMC 2022 admit card for this examination will be released in the third week of May 2022. If the candidate has filled up the application form correctly then he or she will be able to download the admit card from their official website.
The result of this examination will be published in the second week of June 2022. In order to view the result, you will first have to visit the official website of the IIMC and then click on the “Entrance Exam Result” option. You will get this under News and announcements. You will then have to click on the “Applied Course” that will open.. You will be able to view the result on your screen and it will be in the form of PDF.
The candidates will be able to check out the cut off marks on the day when it will be officially declared. This will only be published once the results are declared. After this, there will be a Group Discussion and also a personal interview. This will be held in the last week of June. Finally, the final results will be declared in the second week of July.
The examination will be held on the 4th week of May and the answer key will be published within 5 to 10 days of the completion of the examination. The answer key will be released in different sections like Set A, Set B, Set C, Set D, Set E, Set F, Set G and Set H. This will certainly help the students calculate the number of marks that they will get in the examination.
