IISER Admission 2022IISER Admission 2022: IISER (Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research) is a well-known institution in India for education and research. The application form for this category allows candidates to be part of the exam as the applicant. And the exam for this category will be done in seven cities of India named as Pune, Bhopal, Mohali, Tirupati, Berhampur, Kolkata, and Thiruvananthapuram. Note: Float – While applying for this exam, all candidates will be questioned if they would like to go with Float. The next round facility will be grabbed if the candidate has not selected IISER as the first option, and this benefit will be only if you have selected Yes for Float. It is helpful to grab the first chance/choice or will be a privilege for higher preference. Otherwise, there will not be any guarantee for the same.

IISER 2022 Application Form:

Via state and central boards, candidates can get admission in IISER institutes once they fill the IISER Admission 2022 Application Form and hit the exam. This form can also be filled via the JEE Advanced stream and KVPY stream.

  • While filling the form, candidates will have to upload a scanned mark-sheet or rank card along with the scanned photograph.
  • The candidates need to go for making institution choice preferences and it will help when getting admission.
  • For future use, one should always keep a copy of the application form.

IISER Admission 2022 Fee

  • The Fee for this examination is 2000/- for each General Category. For SC/ST category & Kashmiri Migrants, the fee amount is minimized up-to 1000/-.
  • The Application Fee payment can be done by Online mode.

IISER 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

The Eligibility Criteria for IISER application 2020 include:

  • Nationality: All Indian nationals, OCI & PIO candidates can apply for this exam.

For SCB Stream:

  • Candidates must have a qualified 10+2 examination and for this, he/she should have certification in the science stream in 2017/2020.
  • Candidates have to get marks at an equal level or above the cut-off percentage within the respective boards.
  • There is only 5% relaxation for qualifying marks when you come to the OBC-NC & PwD category.
  • For SC/ST/KM candidates, in all the boards, the cut-off percentage marks are set as 55%.

For KVPY Stream:

  • If Candidates want to apply for the IISER exam then they should have a valid KVPY scholarship beginning from 2020 sessions.

JEE Advanced Stream:

  •  Candidates should have successfully qualified the JEE Advanced exam along with securing the rank within 10000 in Common Rank List.
  •  Relaxation is only applicable for OBC-NC/SC/ST/PwD category if they are having their caste & rank certificates then, it will be considerable.

IISER 2020 Exam Pattern:

The exam pattern details for the IISER application form are jotted down:

  • Mode of Exam: For KVPY Aptitude Test only offline mode is applicable
  • Type of Questions: The multiple-choice types’ questions will be there.
  • Exam Duration: In total, the time for the examination will be 3 hours (10:00 AM to 1:00 PM).
  • No. of Questions: From each subject, 15 questions will be asked.
  • Total Marks: 180 marks are considered and decided as total marks of the exam.
  • Marking Scheme: For each correct response, 3 marks will be given to the candidate.
  • Negative Marking: For wrong answers, one mark will be eliminated from each wrong answer.
  • Subjects in Exam: PCMB subjects –“Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Biology”, these are the subjects from which questions will be asked in the IISER exam.

IISER Syllabus 2022:

As we have mentioned earlier that, in this exam questions will be asked from four subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics & Biology. And the IISER 2020 Syllabus will be a combination of questions from Class 11th & 12th. The syllabus for this exam is given here:

  • Mathematics: Under this section, questions will come from “Sets, Trigonometric Functions, Relations and Functions, Permutations and Combinations, Limits and Derivatives, Mathematical Reasoning, Statistics, Probability, Binomial Theorem, Sequences and Series, Matrices, Determinants, Continuity and Differentiability, Differential equations, Vectors, Integrals, Applications of integrals, Three-dimensional geometry”.
  • Physics: Under this section, questions will come from “Physical World and Measurement, Work, Energy and Power, Kinematics, Laws of Motion, Gravitation, Thermodynamics, Oscillations, Properties of bulk matter, Waves, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Alternating Current, Electromagnetic Induction, Electromagnetic Waves, Dual Nature of Radiation and Matter, Optics”.
  • Chemistry: Under this section, questions will come from “Some Basic Concept of Chemistry, Chemical Bonding and Molecular Structure, Structure of Atom, States of Matter, Thermodynamics, Hydrogen, Redox Reactions, The p-block Elements, Organic Chemistry, The s-block Elements, Hydrocarbons, The solid-state, Solutions, Electrochemistry, Environmental Chemistry, Chemical Kinetics, The d- & f-block elements, Surface chemistry, Organic compounds containing nitrogens, Polymers, Biomolecules, Chemistry in everyday life”.
  • Biology: Under this section, questions will come from “Diversity in the living world, Cell structure & function, Structural organization in animals and plants, Reproduction, Plant Physiology, Human Physiology, Biology & human welfare, Genetics and Evolution, Biotechnology and its application, Ecology & Environment.

IISER Admit Card 2022:

Candidates can comfortably able to download the IISER admit card for the SCB channel on September 2022 through online mode. There is not any other mode to get the IISER 2022 Admit card, so there is no other way of entertaining to download the admit card. Without the availability of an admit card, any candidate will not be allowed to get the entry in the exam center. Candidates have to keep along a valid admit card and filled an application form, and both of these documents should be in the printed copy.

  • Visit the official website of IISER i.e,  http://www.iiseradmission.in/
  • Now at the  homepage scroll download and click on the link of ‘Hall Ticket Download’
  • Then Enter the details & click on ‘login’
  • Download the Admit Card and take the print out of it.

IISER Result 2022:

The results for IISER 2022 will be declared via online mode. And results for IISER 2022 can be checked in October 2022 when you are applying from the SCB channel. To check their results candidates need to use their roll no. & registration id. Once the results will be declared, candidates can register themselves for seats’ allotment. And the seat for IISER will be allotted according to merit secured by the individual in the exam.

Counselling:

IISER 2022 Counselling Process will be held after the Result. The Counselling process has been commenced from 1st October 2022 for the KVPY channel. The candidates who will qualify the exam will be invited for the Counselling. For each channel, counseling will be held separately. Seats will be allotted to candidates on the basis of reservation policy and various other factors.
