IPMATIPMAT 2023: IIM Indore conducts IPMAT, an aptitude test for the candidates who want to enroll for their 5-year training programme in management studies. IPM or Integrated Programme In Management is for the young aspirants who can join the course immediately after completing their senior secondary exams. IPM provides both bachelor’s and master’s degrees for their courses.

IPMAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

To get into IPM desiring students have to clear the IPMAT after which they will be shortlisted for WAT or Written Ability Test and PI or Personal Interview. Other than IIM Indore, students can also enroll with Nirma University with their IPMAT score for their BBA and MBA programme. IIM Rohtak follows a different IPMAT for getting admissions in their Management courses.

Age, qualifying secondary education and a good percentage of marks are the three leading factors of IPMAT.

Age of the desiring candidate should be within 20 years (as on 31st July 2023). For candidates belonging to Sc/St/PwD category, there is a relaxation of 5 years.

Willing candidates must complete their class XII examination from any recognized board in the year 2019 or 2020. 2023 higher secondary appearing candidates can also apply for this course.

A minimum score of 60% for both class X and XII are obligatory. There is a relaxation of 5% for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/ PwD category.

Candidates with certificates from IGCSE and IB are eligible to apply for this course.

Exam Pattern:

IPMAT questions are divided into 3 segments comprising Quantitative Ability (MCQ), Short Answer Questions or SA(MCQ) and Verbal Ability(MCQ). For both IPMAT Indore and IPMAT Rohtak 2020 there will 40 questions in Quantitative Ability,20 for Short Answer Questions or SA(MCQ) and again 40 for Verbal Ability(MCQ). The allotted time for every section is 40 minutes. A candidate needs to answer 100 questions carrying 4 marks each in 2 hours. Each wrong answer can deduct 1 mark whereas there will be no marks deduction in not attending a question.

Syllabus:

The quantitative ability includes profit and loss, simple equations, Geometry, Averages, Mixtures and alligations, data interpretation, mixtures and alligations, Time and work, time and distance, percentage and numbers. There is also verbal ability and this includes vocabulary, proper use of words, correction of sentences and also grammar.

Admit Card

The probable time for the issue of admit card and exam date will be in April or May. May or by June 2020 the results will be announced.

Result:

The candidate will be able to check the results in the IIM Indore official website. These candidates will have to log in to the website and then check out their results.

Answer Key:

Once the candidate completes the examination, they can visit the official website of IIM and check out the answer key. They will get the option of downloading the answer key and based on the answer key they will be able to find out whether the answers they have
