J&K Polytechnic 2024: Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) conducts J&K Polytechnic Entrance Test every year for admission to diploma in polytechnic courses. JK PET is a state-level entrance examination for providing admission to 3-year diploma courses in various fields. Jammu and Kashmir Polytechnic 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates seeking admission to their desired polytechnic course must fulfill the set eligibility criteria by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE). Following is the eligibility criteria to appear for JK PET 2024 exam:

  • Candidates must be residents of Jammu and Kashmir or Ladakh on a permanent basis.
  • Candidates must have passed class 10th or equivalent examination from a recognized board/institution.
  • Candidates must score 40 percent in the tenth grade and not less than 37 percent in the aggregate if the candidate belongs to the reserved category.
  • Candidates who are taking or have taken the qualifying examination are also eligible to take the Entrance Test, however they must upload/submit their qualifying examination record.
  • The Entrance Test for admission to Polytechnic Courses in Government and Private Colleges has no upper age limit.

J&K Polytechnic 2024 Application Form:

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) releases application forms every year for admission to diploma programs. Candidates seeking admission must fill out the application form once they are released on the official website. Students must ensure they meet the required eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Below are the steps to fill the form:

  • Visit the official website of the conducting body, i.e JKBOPEE – www.jakbopee.org/www.jakbopee.net
  • Click on the Application Form available on the official website
  • Fill in all the details and upload all documents asked in the application form.
  • Once the application form is filled out, pay the application fee and submit the form.
  • Save the receipt and application form number for future reference.

Admit Card:

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) releases the admit card for the entrance exam 15 days prior to the exam day. The admit card includes information of the candidate, a photograph of the candidate, the address of the exam venue, and exam day instructions. Following are the steps to download the admit card are:

  • Visit the official website of JKBOPEE
  • Click on the ‘Download Admit Card’ on the official website
  • Enter the registration number & date of birth
  • The admit card will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and Print the admit card

The candidates should carry their admit card to the exam center. Candidates failing to carry their admit cards will not be allowed to sit for the entrance examination. Along with the admit card, candidates must carry certain documents. These documents are:

  • Passport size photograph
  • Original Aadhar Card/Voter ID Card
  • Photocopies of the Aadhar Card/Voter ID Card

J&K Polytechnic 2024 Result & Counselling:

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) releases the result after the successful conclusion of the entrance examination. Candidates who will take the entrance examination will be able to check their results using their login credentials. Following are the steps to check the JK PET 2024 Result:

  • Visit the official website of JKBOPEE
  • Click on the ‘Result’ section on the official website.
  • Enter the roll number and date of birth
  • The result will be displayed on the screen
  • Download and save the result for future reference

Once the result is announced on the official website, JKBOPEE will invite the selected students for the counselling round. Counselling round includes document verification and choice filling process. Once it is done, the conducting body will release the seat allotment result. Candidates will be allotted seats in different institutions according to their marks. Candidates would have to report to their allotted institutes within the stipulated time.

Candidates are also required to carry certain documents at the time of the counselling process. These documents are as follows:
