JNTU Hyderabad Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

There is no maximum age as such to appear in the examination. The minimum age limit of the candidate should be 16 years on the date of the admission

The candidate is required to must have completed HSC or must have some equivalent examination from the Intermediate Education Andhra Pradesh

Those who have attained 50% marks as an aggregate percentage in higher secondary with subjects such as Mathematics and English can appear for the exam.

Candidate must have completed 3 years of diploma course in Architecture and Engineering with a minimum 50% marks.

If you have applied for a domicile then you should be an Indian and belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh to satisfy non-local as well as local needs available at in Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions order 1974 as subsequently amended.

JNTU Hyderabad Admission 2023 Exam Pattern:

  • Candidate needs to go through two tests if moving for B.Arch exam i.e. Test 1 for drawing and Test 2 for Aesthetics
  • Exam will be for 100 marks and the candidate will be given 120 minutes to complete the test.
  • There will be one test under the B.Planning examination for 100 marks. The time duration will be 120 minutes.
  • For B.Planning, the candidate will appear only in one examination which will be for 100 marks.

JNTU 2023 Syllabus:

Syllabus of Test 1 drawing:

  • This test aims at checking the ability of the candidate to sketch and to fulfill this purpose, the candidate will be given an object and create it in a visually appealing way.
  • Visualizing and drawing the effects of the light on the object and shadows cast on surroundings.
  • The sense of viewpoint drawing: Combining and composing the given 3D elements to form the building or the structural form.
  • Creating interest in 2D composition using shapes or forms: Creating visual harmony via the usage of colors in the given composition
  • Understanding the scale and sense of proportion: Drawing from the memory via pencil sketch on themes dependent on everyday experiences.

Syllabus for Test 2 Aesthetics:

  • Visualizing the 3D objects from the 2D drawing
  • Visualizing the dissimilar sides of a 3D object
  • Mental ability, Imaginative expression and comprehension, Architectural awareness
  • Identifying the commonly used objects and materials that are based on textual qualities, Analytical reasoning
