Karnataka ITI Admission 2022: Every state in India commences ITI admission and so is the Karnataka. The aim of the ITI admission is to provide employment to the eligible candidates in several trades. Karnataka ITI Admission 2022 Application Form:

  • To apply for Karnataka ITI Admission 2022, seek the application form from the official website.
  • Fill the application form.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Candidate must have successfully completed class VIII, X, and XII examination from some recognized board or university.
  • Candidates must have studied subjects such as Mathematics & Science as compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam.
  • Must have attained a minimum of 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Candidates must have a domicile certificate of state of Karnataka.
  • Those who are appearing in the qualifying exam may also apply for admission.
  • Those who have completed 5 years of academic study in Karnataka including qualifying exams may apply.
  • Candidate’s minimum age should be 14 years.
  • If you are interested in trades like Production & manufacturing/ electronic/ refrigeration & air conditioning/automobile/ electrical trade then you must have successfully completed class X from some recognized board.
  • To apply for Mason/ plumber/ wireman trades, you must have successfully completed class X from some recognized board.
  • To apply for Carpenter/ foundry man/ plastic processing operator/ mechanic (diesel)/ sheet metal worker trade you must have completed class X
  • For trades like Computer operator & programming assistant, candidates must have successfully cleared the PUC-II exam or must have done a 3-year diploma course from some recognized institute.
  • To apply for desktop publishing operator trade, you must have passed the SSLC exam (English medium) and must have a typing speed of 30 wpm in English.
  • Trades such as Cutting & tailoring/ embroidery & needlework demands candidate must have successfully completed class X.
  • Dressmaking trade needs minimum qualification till class X
  • For Secretarial practice/ stenography/ COPA trades, the minimum eligibility is successful completion of PUC exam.
  • To opt for trades such as Mechanic (motor vehicle)/ fitter/ surveyor/ machinist/ instrument mechanic/ turner/ electroplater trade you must have successfully completed class X.
  • For trades such as Instrument mechanic (chemical plant)/ attendant operator (chemical plant)/ lab assistant (chemical plant) trade, you must have successfully completed class X and must be the B.Sc. graduate (PCM).
  • To apply for Tool & die making a trade, the candidate must have done class X successfully.

Karnataka ITI Admission Process:

The admission procedure includes filling the application form, fee submission, counseling, etc. Candidates must carry original documents and fee receipt at the document verification center. Admission will be provided to the applicants on the basis of merit list. Seats will be given to the applicants after completion of the entire admission process.

Merit List:

There will be a release of the merit list via online mode in the month of July. There will be the first release of the provisional merit list. Candidates are free to file objections in case of any correction required in the merit list. The release of the merit list will be via online mode. The merit list includes scores attained and the name of the candidate for further seeking admission.

Counseling:

There will be counselling round for those who have submitted the counselling fee at the time of counseling. The entire process will be an online process that will be organized via online mode. Make sure to carry original & required documents for verification & submission respectively.
