Kasiga School Admission 2024: In order to get admission to the Kasiga school, the children have to at least be in class IV. When the students get promoted to class IX, then they certainly will have the option to choose the board. The students of class XII will also get the same option. The academic calendar for this particular school will start in the month of April every year. There is summer vacation for 6 weeks starting in the middle of May and then the school re-opens in the month of July. The biggest advantage of getting admitted to this school is that it escorts the students to Delhi and Kathmandu when they go back to their homes during their vacations.

Kasiga School Admission 2024 Application Form:

All students, irrespective of their caste and religion can get admission to this school. The process of admission is dependent on the number of seats available. The students who want to get admission to this particular school have to register by themselves. Once the students get registered, they will have to appear for a written assessment in the month of November and December. The official website will have all the necessary details. It is important to take a school tour and talk to teachers before taking admission.

  • The students between classes IV to classes IX and class XI can register
  • The student has to complete the application fee and then deposit it in the office along with Rs.15000 which is the registration fee.
  • The fee does not guarantee admission and is also not refundable.
  • If one wants he or she can also deposit the application and the registration form online.

The payment of the application fee of Rs.15000 can be made by the parents of students online through the payment gateway service of the bank that has been designated by the school. The parents have to bear the service tax along with the transaction charge as well. This is the charge that the service provider of e-payment takes in order to provide all the necessary services. When the user makes an online payment, then all the necessary charges are mentioned.

The parents also can make a payment deposit online through their debit or credit card. Once the payment is made online, then it is not possible to get a refund. In case, however, the fee payment is made twice, then the parents have to submit a letter to the department of Accounts of the school along with the details of the transaction and also the online receipt number. Once the verification is complete, there will be a refund of the money. Once all the transactions are complete, then the receipt will get generated

Eligibility Criteria:

The child has to be at least in class IV in order to take admission to the Kasiga school which means that the child needs to be at least 8 and a half years old. Then there will be a written test as well. This test would help in assessing your proficiency in English, Science, Mathematics, and also Hindi. There will also be a reference check done from the previous school. The student will have to submit the registration card, the birth certificate, the last three years report along with the academic reports, and also passport-size photographs. Apart from that the Aadhar Card also has to be submitted. After submitting all these details the students will be given an admission letter.

Exam Pattern:

The entrance examination will be conducted within the premises of the school. Once the applications are received, the candidates are called provided there are seats available. Once the assessment is completed the parents are to meet the head of the school. The parents can either download the registration form from the website or they may get it from the admission department of the school. The entrance test centers will be Dehradun, Lucknow, Patna, Surat and New Delhi.

  • Picture composition in English and also in Hindi ( 10 – 15 sentences)
  • Comprehension of a simple story or incident which is about 3 -5 questions and is based on the word/phrase and on the passage.
  • Grammar and vocabulary
  • Mathematics which would include addition, multiplication, subtraction and also division. This would also include the place and the phase value, the ascending as well as the descending value and also number names.
  • General Science – Multiple choice questions, fill in the blanks, crosswords and also questions based on pictures, environment and also Social Science.

2. For classes VI, VII, VIII

  • English – 50 marks
  • Hindi – 50 marks
  • Maths – 50 marks
  • General Science – 50 marks
  • Duration – 2 hours
  • Composition in English as well as Hindi ( 100 – 150 words)
  • Comprehension of the simple story or incident or an event
  • 5 questions based on an informal letter, passage, word or phrase, verbs, conjunctions, tenses and also prepositions.
  • Mathematics – Easy and simple problems on addition, multiplication, subtraction and also division, Place value and phase value, fractions, decimals, ratio and proportion, Ascending and descending order, Math- Simple story problems on addition, multiplication, subtraction and division, names, LCM, HCF, Number line, Percentage, Straight line, Angle and Triangle.
  • General Science – MCQs, fill in the blanks, crosswords, picture-based questions on basic
  • Number, (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environment studies), Social Studies ( History, Geography, Civics)

3. Class IX (CBSE/IGCSE) (IGCSE

  • English 50
  • Hindi – 50 marks
  • Mathematics – 50 marks
  • General Science – 50 marks
  • Time duration – 3 hours
  • English and Hindi Composition for 200 – 250 words
  • Simple Reflective comprehension passages on events in history/social issues (questions based on the passage, word/phrase meanings, direct-indirect speech, active/passive voice), Diary entry, notice, message, e-mail, biosketch
  • Mathematics – Integers-addition, subtraction, multiplication, Ascending and descending order, factors, multiples, identities, fractions, Decimals, ratio and proportion, LCM, HCF, Number line, Percentage, Straight line, Angle, Triangle, Pythagoras Theorem.
  • General Science- MCQs, fill in the blanks, numerical, experiment-based questions on basic science, fuels, pollution- (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Environment studies)
  • Social Studies- – MCQs, fill in the blanks, Questions on Social Studies ( History, Geography, Civics of class VIII level.)

4. Class XI (CBSE/IGCSE) Based on class X syllabus and stream into which admission is sought:

  • Duration – 3 hours
  • English- Mandatory for all streams. 100 marks As per the Class X CBSE/CIE curriculum
  • Sciences- Any three of the following- 100marks Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology (As per the CBSE /CIE Class X Curriculum)
  • Commerce-100 marks
  • Economics/ BSt. /Accounts syllabus of class X.(CBSE/IGCSE)
  • Humanities-100 marks
  • Social Studies (History, Geography, Civics, Economics) syllabus of class X
