Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Candidates must satisfy the local/non-local status requirement according to the exam conducting authority.

Eligibility Criteria for Lower Primary Level: (Class I – V):

  • Candidate must have successfully completed Senior Secondary or XII with at least 45% marks or those who are appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) / Two-year diploma in education (D.El.Ed) / 2-year diploma in Education (Special Education).
  • Candidate must have attained with the degree of graduation BA / B.Sc with at least 50% marks and B.ED qualified candidates may also apply for the examination.

Eligibility Criteria for Upper Primary Level: (Class VI-VIII):

  • Those who have successfully cleared BA/B.Sc with at least 50% marks and also must have done B.Ed from some recognized University.

OR

  • Those who are appearing in the final 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) / B.A. (Ed.)/ B.Ed B.Sc. (Ed.), (Special Education) with at least 50% marks in BA/ B.Sc may also appear for the exam.
  • The age of the candidate must be 21 years as of January 2022 and the maximum age will be 35 years.
  • Those who belong to reserved categories such as SC/ST/PH will get age relaxation of 5 % as per board norms.

Nagaland TET Application Fee:

  • Those who belong to General and OBC category will pay Rs 500/-  and Rs 800/- for papers I and II respectively.
  • Those who belong to SC/ST category will pay Rs 250/- and 400/- and Rs 800/- for papers I and II respectively.
  • The payment can be done via modes such as net banking, debit/credit card.
  • You can also make payments through offline mode too.

Nagaland TET 2022Application Form:

  • The online application form will be released via online mode using the official website.
  • You can attain the application form in the month of July.
  • Go to the official website to get the application form.
  • Go to the Home tab and check for the “Apply Online” link and Click.
  • The candidate will make payment of the application fee via TS Online or Net Banking Or Credit / Debit Cards.
  • Fill the Online Application form with all the details.
  • Upload the scanned documents of the photograph and signature in JPG format.
  • Scan the image of photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  • Upload the documents and then make a selection of the desirable test centre. Candidates can select two test centers – one for primary and secondary.
  • The Exam Conducting Authority will give the chance to candidates to correct the application form via online mode.
  • Check eth details entered in the application form
  • Take a print out of the application form for further reference.

Exam Pattern:

  • Paper will take place in the offline mode.
  • The exam duration will be 150 minutes.
  • Paper will have Objective type questions.
  • Paper will have consisted of 150 questions
  • The candidate will get 1 mark each for every correct answer
  • There will be no negative marking.

Structure of Paper-I: 

  • Child Development and Pedagogy will have 30 questions for 30 marks
  • The language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks
  • Language II (English) will have 30 questions for 30 marks
  • Mathematics will have 30 questions for 30 marks
  • Environmental Studies will have 30 questions for 30 marks

Structure of Paper-II:

  • Child Development and Pedagogy will have  30 questions for 30 marks
  • The language I will have 30 questions for 30 marks
  • Language II (English) will have 30 questions for 30 marks
  • Mathematics and Science OR Social Studies will have 60 questions for 60 marks

Exam Syllabus:

  • In Child Development and Pedagogy, topics such as Understanding Learning, Development Of Child, Pedagogical Concerns will be covered.
  • Language I will be Hindi
  • Language II will be English
  • Mathematics includes topics such as Number System, Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Sets, Menstruation, Data Handling
  • Environmental Studies includes topics such as My Family, Our Body, Health, Cleanliness, Work & Play, Earth and Sky, Our country (India), Indian constitution, Our Food, Shelter, Air, Water, Plants and Animals, Our State (Nagaland), History and Culture of India

Selection Procedure:

  • The section process will be based on the performance in the following given sections. All qualified candidates in the following sections will be appointed as teachers in government primary schools and higher primary schools.
  • Candidates will be examined in both the divisions along with both the papers and must clear two papers separately.
  • Paper-I will take place for the primary teacher and those who want to apply for classes I to V
  • Paper-II will be held for candidates who want to become a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

Admit Card:

Those who successfully fill the application form and submit it will get the Admit Card via the official website of Nagaland TET Conducting Authority. Download the Admit Card by entering the details such as Registration Number and Date of Birth. Before you download the admit card check the details available in the admit card. Take a print of the admit card for further use.

Exam Result:

Candidates can seek the Nagaland TET 2022 result from the official website. Check the result using registration number, admit card, date of birth and Captcha code.
