NEET MDS 2024 Application Form:

If you are eligible to apply for NEET MDS 2024 then start filling out the online application form. Here is the step-by-step process to apply:

  • First, go to the NBE website and create your profile. Those who have applied earlier can use their login credentials
  • In the next step, fill in the details in the application form of NEET MDS. Candidates are required to opt for the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test – Master of Dental Surgery to move further.
  • Now, choose the examination center. The exam center will be allotted based on first come first serve.
  • Submit the online application fee via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking
  • Pay the application fee.

  • SC/ST/PWD: INR 3250

Eligibility Criteria:

Check the eligibility conditions to appear for NEET MDS 2024:

  • Applicant must have completed the degree of graduation in Dental Surgery
  • Applicant must have completed one year of Internship in a recognized Dental college

Eligibility Criteria for All India 50% Quota Seats:

  • Those who have studied or cleared BDS from Jammu & Kashmir are not applicable for 50% AIQseats.
  • Those who were nominated by the Government of India to do BDS in J&K are eligible to apply for admission.

Exam Pattern:

Check the examination pattern of NEET MDS 2024:

  • NEET MDS exam will be commenced in the online mode.
  • The test includes 15 minutes of test tutorial on the system. Candidates need to complete the paper in 3 hours
  • Candidate needs to complete all MCQ 240 questions

Marking Scheme:

  • Candidate will get 4 marks on every correct answer
  • There will be deduction of 1 mark on every incorrect response

Candidates must know the detailed syllabus of NEET MDS 2024. This will help in preparing well for the examination.

Exam Result:

The examination result of NEET MDS 2024 will release in May. Here are the steps to check the exam result:

  • First, go to the official website of nbe.edu.in
  • Now, use the login credentials
  • After this, look for the ‘Check Result’ tab
  • And the result will appear on screen
  • Download and take a print for further reference.

Cut Off:

The cut-off marks is the percentage obtained by the applicant. It is calculated on the basis of the highest marks attained in the test.

  • General Category (UR/EWS) – 50%
  • SC/ST/OBC (including PWD of SC/ST/OBC) – 40%
  • UR-PWD: 45%

Counseling & Seat Allotment:

The counseling will begin in March. It will be commenced in the online mode. Candidates are required to visit the allotted college/institution for verification of the documents. Counselling for different quota will be commenced by different bodies at different schedules:

  • All India 50% Quota: Medical Counselling Committee, Directorate General of Health Services
  • State Quota Seats: State Designated Authority/University
  • Private Dental Colleges / Institutions / Universities / Deemed Universities: Designated Counselling Authority of Private Dental Colleges / Institutions / Universities / Deemed Universities
  • Armed Forces Medical Services: Army Dental Corps, Ministry of Defence, Government of India

Reservation:

Check the seat reservation from the official website. The details are as follows:

  • SC category: 15%
  • ST category: 5%
  • OBC category: 27% (only in central government institutions/central universities)
