NEET SS 2025: NEET SS is shortened for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Super Speciality Courses) commenced every year by the National Board of Education for providing admission to several DM/MCh courses. This qualifying cum ranking exam aims at providing admission to several super specialty courses. There is no entrance test relevant for providing admission to these courses. NEET SS 2025 Application Form:

If you are eligible to apply for NEET SS 2025, then visit the official website nbe.edu.in and apply. Fill in the personal, qualification, and other details in the form carefully and correctly. The application process will come to an end by paying the application fee of Rs.4250. The application will remain for all applicants disregarding of the specific category. Pay the application fee via online modes such as credit/debit/net banking.

Eligibility Criteria:

Check the eligibility criteria for NEET SS 2025 before applying. Here is the comprehensive information about the same:

  • The candidate must be possessed a postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) or it’s equivalent from some recognized institution.
  • Those who have completed their post-graduation degree on or before November 30, 2021, will be considered eligible for NEET SS 2025 because completing the degree after the due date will be considered ineligible.
  • Interested candidates must be registered with MCI or SMC and registration proof to be submitted at the test center on exam day.

Eligibility Criteria for Foreign Nationals:

  • There is hardly any need for MCI registration for NRI but they need to be registered with the apt authority of the respective country.
  • Temporary registration will be given to candidates for postdoctoral courses after clearing the NEET SS 2025.
  • The registration for NRI is temporary and is limited to the medical college or institution in which the admission is granted.

Exam Pattern:

Applicants can select any two super-specialty programs in NEET SS 2025. A separate question paper will be prepared for super specialty courses or clubbed groups. Here is the examination pattern:

  • The Paper will be a Computer Based Test.
  • There will be Multiple Choice Questions in the paper.
  • The paper will appear in the English language.
  • In all, there will be two sections in the paper (Part A & Part B).
  • The candidate will get 1 hour and 45 minutes in completing the paper.
  • The applicant will receive 4 marks for every correct answer and there will be a deduction of 1 mark on every incorrect answer.
  • The candidate needs to solve 100 questions.

Mock Test:

The mock test will be commenced on the official website. It is a sort of trial test for appearing applicants. Through the mock test, applicants will get familiar with the exam structure and exam level.

Admit Card:

NBE is responsible for releasing the admit card/hall ticket on the official website. Candidates who submit the application form will receive that Admit Card. This card will consist of details such as roll number, exam center details, exam timings, etc. It is compulsory to download the admit card and affix the latest passport-size photograph in the specified space. Take a print of the admit card and carry it to the exam center. Steps to download admit card:

  • Go to the NBE official website.
  • Now, choose the ‘NEET-SS’ tab and click on the ‘Applicant Login’ link
  • After this, enter the User ID and password
  • The admit card will pop up on the screen
  • Download and save the admit card for further reference.
  • Take a print of this card.

Exam Result:

NBE will release the exam result on the official website. Candidates can check the result in PDF format. The result consisted of the applicant’s roll number and maximum marks obtained. They may also check the qualifying status and save a copy of the result for further requirements. After the result declaration, those who have attained minimum marks may appear in the counseling process for admission in 31 DM/MCh courses.

Merit List:

The merit list will be prepared separately for every super specialty course. This merit list will be prepared based on the marks acquired in the entrance test. Those who have received 50% and above will be considered applicable for admission in several super specialty courses.

Tie-Breaking Method:

If two or more candidates scored the same marks in the NEET SS 2025 examination, then the exam conducting authority will employ the tie-breaking method. Applicants who attempted lesser negative responses in the paper will be in a higher position in merit.

  • If still, the tie persists, then those who have acquired higher scores in Part B will be preferred.
  • In case of tie failed to solve, candidates with less number of negative attempts in Part B of the NEET SS question paper will be considered.
  • Lastly, to break the tie, the applicants older will be given a higher merit position.

Counseling:

Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of MCC will commence the NEET SS 2025 counseling process for those who have cleared the initial two rounds. To appear in the counseling, candidates need to register for each round separately and fill the choice of courses and colleges. After the counseling process comes to an end and submitting the fee, admission to several DM/MCh super specialty courses will be granted.
