NERIST NEE 2022: The North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology (NERIST) responsible for releasing the NEE application form. This is a unique institute and one of its kind in the country. It is known to provide unconventional and innovative academic programmes. This fully-funded Institute is controlled by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. NERIST NEE 2022 Eligibility Criteria:

The eligibility to appear for NERIST NEE 2022 examination is important to check before appearing for the examination. The paper wise eligibility is given below:

NEE I:

Age:

  • General Category: The maximum age of the candidate should be 19 years as of July 31, 2022
  • OBC and Female Applicants: The eligible age should be 22 years; the candidate should be born on or after August 1, 2000
  • ST/SC/PD: Candidate’s age should be 24 years according to which, he/she should be born on or after August 1, 1998.

Academic Qualification:

Candidates must have completed class X or some other equivalent exam with Science and Mathematics. They must successfully clear all the subjects including Science and Mathematics.

NEE-II:

Age:

  • General Category: The maximum age of the candidate should be 23 years as of August 01, 1999
  • OBC and Female Applicants: The eligible age should be 26 years; the candidate should be born on or after August 1, 1996
  • ST/SC/PD: Candidate’s age should be 28 years according to which, he/she should be born on or after August 1, 1994.

Academic Qualifications:

  • NEE-II (PCM): Candidate must have cleared class XII with PCM/Higher Secondary/Senior Secondary with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM).
  • NEE-II (Vocational): Applicants must have cleared class XII (Vocational) / ITI / NERIST Certificate in any one of the branches/trades, viz., [Agricultural Engineering] Farm Equipment (FE) / Food Processing (FP); [Civil Engineering] Construction Technology i.e. Draftsmanship / Surveyor (CT); [Electronics and Communications Engineering] Electronics Technology or Electronics Maintenance (ET/EM); [Electrical Engineering] Electrical Technology or Electrical Maintenance (ET/EM); [Mechanical Engineering] Mechanical Craftsmanship (MC) / Automobile Technology (AT) and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (R&AC) are eligible.
  • NEE-II (PCB): Candidates must have passed class XII (PCB)/ Higher Secondary/Sr. Secondary with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB).

NEE III:

  • General Category: The maximum age of the candidate should be 40 years as of August 01, 1982
  • OBC and Female Applicants: The eligible age should be 43 years; the candidate should be born on or after August 1, 1979
  • ST/SC/PD: Candidate’s age should be 45 years according to which, he/she should be born on or after August 1, 1977.

Academic Qualification:

Candidate must have passed 3-year Diploma course from any Government recognized Polytechnic/institution in the respective or allied discipline with at least 60%  marks of all the three years together/CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale or NERIST Diploma Module with a minimum of CGPA 6.0.

NERIST NEE 2022 Application Form:

The exam conducting authority will release the application form for NERIST NEE 2022 in online mode. Check the steps given below regarding filling the online form:

  • Registration: First go to the official website at www.neeonline.ac.in and click on the NERIST NEE registration link. Enter the basic details such as name, contact number, etc., and sign up. After signing up, candidates will receive an activation code that takes them to the NERIST NEE application form.
  • Application Form: Use the activation code received at the registered mobile number and email ID to log in. Candidates will choose the programme type and name in which they want to appear. Now, provide your details and contact information.
  • Upload the Documents: The next step will be uploading the documents. Upload the scanned copy of the signature and photograph as per specifications.
  • Academic Details: Enter your academic details such as last attended institutions and marks obtained from those institutes. Choose the preferred cities for NEE exam centers.

Steps to Download Admit Card:

  • Click on the link to NERIST NEE admit card 2022
  • Go to the candidate portal
  • Enter the registered email address and password. Click on the login button

Exam Result:

Merit List:

The exam conducting authorities will prepare the merit list for those who successfully clear the entrance test. The eligibility of securing names in the merit list varies from one module to other.

NEE- I

  • Marks attained by the candidates in Maths and Science in class 10th or equivalent. If it is the case of a tie then priority will be given to Mathematics.

NEE- II (PCM)

  • Marks attained by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths in class 12th or equivalent. If it is the case of a tie then priority will be given to Mathematics, then Chemistry, and in the end to Physics

NEE- II (PCB)

  • Marks attained by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in class 12th or equivalent. In case of a tie, priority will be given to Biology, then Chemistry, and then Physics

NEE- II (Vocational)

  • Marks attained by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the qualifying examination

NEE- III

  • The candidate must attain an aggregate of 60% marks in the qualifying exam. Merit will be determined based on CGPA/scores in the respective discipline of the qualifying exam

Counseling:

The counseling process will be commenced in the online mode. Those who have their names on the merit list will attend the counseling round. The counseling portal will be opened where candidates will have to register and fill their preference of courses and colleges. Counseling will begin in the offline mode which includes verification of documents and seat allotment.
