Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants are suggested to check the eligibility criteria to acquire admission in several programs offered by NIIT University. Here is the information:
B.Tech Programs:
- Candidates must have successfully completed class XII from some recognized board.
- They must have scored at least 60% scores in the qualifying exam to seek admission.
- If you have qualified exams such as JEE mains, SAT, BITSAT, or any state-level engineering entrance test, you can seek admission.
- Those who have completed their final year can also apply.
- In order to get admission in lateral entry programs, candidates must have attained the diploma in B.Tech programs.
UG Courses (B.Tech):
- Candidates must have acquired at least 60% or equivalent marks in class X with five subjects (English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and last one can act as per applicant’s choice) from some recognized board.
- Candidates must attain at least 60% or equivalent marks in class XII with the five subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology, English and the fifth one of applicant’s choice) from some recognized board.
- Applicants must have attained at least 60% marks in PCM/PCB in class XII.
- Those who have passed class XII or appearing for XII can apply for the entrance test.
- Submit the scores of JEE Main/SAT/BITSAT/NUET for the admission process.
- Applicant must attain at least grade 4 in the IB board and minimum grade C in the IGCSE board.
PG Courses (M.Tech):
- Applicant must have achieved first division in a combination of any 10th, 12th & graduation and second division in the third course to apply.
- Those who have a minimum of 3 years of work experience must have attained at least 50% marks in X, XII and graduation.
- Applicant must have acquired at least 50% marks in post-graduation.
M.Tech Programs:

NIIT University Admission Process:
Some important points about the admission process delineated below:
- Those who have applied in the academic records, national or state level entrance examination and scored qualified marks in the examination can acquire admission in several programs offered by NIIT University. The applicants will be chosen to attain admission in this university by scores obtained in the various examinations and later will be called for personal Counseling Interaction (PCI).
- Regular admission mode will offer admission to the applicants who have successfully clear the entrance test. The admission procedure will be based on first come and first serve.
