  1. To apply for Generalist, the applicant must have done Graduation with 60% (55% for SC/ST) from a recognized university
  2. For Engineers (Automobile), candidate must have done Graduation/Post Graduation in Automobile Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (55% for SC/ST)
  3. If you are interested to apply for Accounts then the applicant must be possessed with the Master’s Degree in Commerce / MBA degree in Finance with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST) Or  ICWAI  Or  Cost and Management Accountant (ICWAI) earlier known as Cost and Wok Accountants (ICWAI)
  4. To do Legal, the candidate must be possessed with have completed Law with 60% marks (55% for SC/ST)

Exam Pattern:

Once the application process is done, start with the examination pattern. The exam pattern for Prelims is as follows:

  • The applicant will get 60 minutes to complete the exam.
  • Paper will be online, CBT and Objective type
  • It will be for 100 marks.
  • There will be three sections in the exam – English language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude

Next stage i.e. the Main examination will be an online test. The final merit depends on the numbers on numbers and the number of interviews. Here is the examination pattern:

Main Exam has two sections – Objective and Descriptive.

The Objective examination will be consisted of 200 marks and the descriptive paper will be for 30 marks. However, the number will not be counted for the final selection. It is compulsory for applicants to qualify the descriptive paper. The descriptive test will be an online exam but will be obtained when entrants acquire cut-off marks in the Main (Objective) exam.

  • Exam Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes for the descriptive test
  • Paper will be both Objective and Descriptive
  • This will be an online CBT test
  • It will be for 200 marks.
  • The sections included in this exam are English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness and Test of Professional Knowledge.
  • On every incorrect answer, one-fourth of the marks will be deducted. However, no marks will be deducted for the questions left blank.

The last stage is Interview based on the marks attained in the Main Objective Exam. The weightage (ratio) of the online exam and interview will be 80:20. Applicants will appear at the examination centre for an interview.
