Process to Apply OSSTET:

  • First go to the official web site and register yourself online.
  • Check all the necessary instructions to fill the application form.
  • Open the ‘New Registration’ tab and fill all the details.
  • Click on the ‘New Registration’ tab and get done with the registration method.
  • The candidate will now upload image and signature.
  • Create an application fee via facilities such as web banking, debit/credit card.
  • Submit the application fee and application form. Make sure to seek the print of the application form before the final submission.

Application Fee:

You can pay the application fee via online mode and the amount is Rs.500. It is important to know that the application fee is non-refundable.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Candidate must be efficient in reading and writing Odia language.
  • Candidate must have passed HSC examination by the state board or some other equivalent exam with Odia as First/Second/Third Language.

Eligibility Criteria for Class I:

  • Applicant must have completed HSC with at least 50% marks with two years diploma in elementary school Education.

OR

  • Applicant must have done graduation with two years diploma in education by RCI.

Eligibility Criteria for class II:

  • Candidate must have done graduation with at least 50 % marks and one year Bachelor’s Degree in Education/1year B.Ed. (Special Education) approved by RCI.

OR

  • Applicant must have done Higher Secondary (+2 or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and done B.A. Ed. / B.Sc. Ed.

OSSTET 2022 Exam Pattern:

  • Paper will have Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Each question will consist of 1 mark.
  • For correct answer one mark be awarded.
  • There will be no negative marking
  • The exam duration will be 150 minutes.
  • The question paper will have three sections – Section – I, Section- II, and Section -III.
  • Section I will have Odia, Hindi, Telugu, Urdu & Bengali, and the candidate will select one of these languages.
  • Section-II includes English subjects.
  • Section-III will consist of questions in Arts and Science subjects. The question in subjects like Hindi/Classical (Sanskrit/Telugu/Urdu) shall be in individual languages.

Admit Card:

Admit Card will be released two weeks prior to the exam date. You can collect the admit card using the official website. The admit card will consist of information such as Candidate’s Name, Roll No, Date of Birth, Exam date/day/time/venue. To collect Exam admit card, go through the below-mentioned steps:

  • Go to the official link or web site
  • Enter your registration number and Date of Birth.
  • Click on the submit button.
  • You will be able to see you admit card on the screen.
  • Download Admit card and take a print.

Note: Carry admits card at the exam venue.

Answer Key:

  • Answer key of paper I and II will be released on the official website. Download the official answer key from the official website.
  • The answer key will help in availing the answers and further candidates can calculate the estimated marks attained in the examination OSSTET 2022.

Exam Result:

  • After the release of the answer key the Odisha Board of secondary education will announce the result.
  • Those who appear in the OSSTET examination can check the result on the official web site i.e bseodisha.nic.in.
  • The result will be declared via online mode
  • Enter your Roll Number or Registration number to check the result.

Selection Process:

  • The selection of the candidates will be based on the performance in OSSTET 2022 entrance test commenced by the Odisha state government.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted by marks attained within the entrance examination.
  • Go to the Final round Personal Interview.

OSSTET 2022 Certificate:

Those who qualify OSSTET 2022 will get a certificate that will be valid further.

Qualifying Marks:

The minimum passing marks should be 60% but for SC/ ST/ PH/ SEBC candidates, the minimum passing mark shall be 50%.
