OTET 2022 is an entrance examination and whosoever clear the examination can continue the career in teaching. Given below are the details about the examination:

OTET 2022 Application Form:

If you wish to apply for the examination then follow the steps mentioned below:

  • Go to the link http://www.bseodisha.nic.in/
  • An option saying ‘Application Form OTET 2022’ will appear on the screen. Click the option.
  • Click the registration button
  • Fill details such as Name, Date of birth, educational qualification.  Make sure to fill all the details carefully and correctly.
  • After reassurance, submit the application form. You will get the number and password.
  • Take print out of the application form for further use.

Application fee:

It is important to pay the application fee along with the submission of the application form. The application fee will be Rs.350 to be paid via e-challan:

Eligibility Criteria:

For paper 1:

  • To apply for OTET 2022, the candidate must have passed intermediate examination or an examination equivalent to it. Candidate must have attained 50% marks along with a diploma of 2 years in elementary education.

or

  • The candidate must have completed 10+2+3 in any of the streams and must have also completed a diploma of elementary education for 2 years. It can be either the diploma for elementary education or special education.

For paper 2:

  • Candidate must have done 10+2+3 with minimum 50% marks along with a one-year diploma in B.Ed.

or

  • Candidate must have successfully completed 10+2+3 with a minimum of 50% marks with one year B.Ed with Special Education.

or

  • Candidate must have completed an intermediate examination with at least 50% marks and four years for B.A Ed/BSc. Ed.
  • There will be a relaxation of 5% to the candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC/ SEBC category.

Exam Pattern for Paper 1:

  • Child Development and Pedagogy will have 30 Questions for 30 marks
  • Language -1, Oriya/Urdu will have 30 Questions for 30 marks
  • Language – 1, Oriya/Urdu will have 30 Questions for 30 marks
  • Telegu /Hindi/ Bengali will have 30 Questions for 30 marks
  • Language – 2 (English) will have 30 Questions for 30 marks
  • Language -2  (English) will have 30 Questions for 30 marks
  • Mathematics will have 30 Questions for 30 marks
  • Environmental Studies will have 30 Questions for 30 marks

  • Child Development and Pedagogy will have 30 Questions for 30 marks
  • Language – 1, Oriya/ Telegu/Bengali/Hindi/Urdu will have 30 Questions for 30 marks

Admit Card:

Those who have successfully get over with the registration will receive an admit card from the official website. The admit card consisted of details such as name, roll number, Exam date/day/time, exam venue, etc. Make sure to carry the admit card at the exam centre. Steps of admit card:

  • Go to the official website of OTET www.bseodisha.nic.in
  • Click the tab ‘Examination Tab’ and follow the examination link.
  • Press the link of the to admit card and then download it.
  • Enter registration number, father’s name and password.
  • Go to ‘View my admit Card’ and get the view of the admit card on your screen.
  • Download the admit card and save it

Exam Result:

To catch the result, go to the official website and use their registered account to view the outcome of the exam.

Answer Key:

Get the answer key of OTET 2022. You will receive two separate answer keys for Paper 1 and Paper 2. Click the link and get a glimpse of the answer sheets.

Cut Off:

Cut off marks will also be available via online mode. This will be the minimum marks that the candidate required to qualify the examination.
