Presidency University Admission 2022: Presidency University is one of the principal establishment of advanced education in Asia. Founded in 1817 by a group of Indians and Britishers, it was known as Hindu College then. The institute was appraised to University status in 2010. Collaboration with 19 other universities from all over the globe makes University unique. The university offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate courses and it has more than 220 permanent faculty member.
Presidency University Admission 2022 Application Form:
Admission in Presidency University will be offered on a test called PUBDET and PUMDET for undergraduate and postgraduate respectively. These tests are conducted by University every year.
- Application form for PUBDET will be available in the second week of January 2022 and can be filled through online
- The application form for PUMBET will be released in the second week of March 2022.
- Institute can reject the application form if particular of an applicant is not correct and alterations are not allowed once the form is filled.
- Photographs and digital signature are required to complete the admission form. Print out of confirmation page is necessary.
Presidency University Application Fees:
The Presidency University 2022 application fees are rupees 500 for all courses and it can be paid using net banking/credit card/debit card and other online methods the fees are not refundable in any case.

Eligibility Criteria:
For PUBDET:
- Previous study: students must have passed 12th from any recognized board but not before 2021
- Age: candidate could be of any age
- Marks required: It varies from course to course
- Compulsory subjects: depending on course as per board
- Stream: Any science/commerce or Arts
- Domicile: domicile certificate is a must for students belonging to reserved categories
For PUMDET:
- Previous study: student must have passed graduation from any recognised University but not before 2021
- Age: no specified age
- Marks required: it differs from course to course
- Compulsory subject: based on course as per University
- Stream: Any science/commerce or Arts
- Domicile: domicile certificate is a must for students belonging to reserved categories
Exam Pattern:
The PUBDET and PUMDET both will be conducted in offline mode and will be organized by the university. There will be multiple-choice questions in the test. There will be a total of 50 questions for each subject and students will get 90 minutes to complete the test. Marks will be deducted for wrong answers and test will be total of 100 marks.

Presidency University Syllabus
For PUBDET
The test will be based on 11th and 12th standard syllabus of various recognized boards.
For PUMDET
The syllabus is made online for students in general by WBJEEB on their website.
Admit Card
The registered candidates who fill and submit the form correctly get Admit card to appear for PUBDET and PUMDET which is to be conducted in the second week of April 2022 and the fourth week of June 2022. Admit card for PUBDET will be released in the first week of April 2022 and whereas pf PUMDET will be released in the first week of June 2022. Admit cards will be available on the internet. By using the login credentials students can download the admit cards from the official website. The exam centre allotted to the student will be mentioned on the admit card. Even after the exam admit card must be with candidates. In case if any student wants a duplicate copy of the Admit Card they must contact the board and pay rupees 500 fees.
Result:
Admission in university is based on the result of the entrance exam which is declared by board online atwbjeeb.nic.inwebsite. To get there result students must log in with their application number and password. The result is declared in a form of rank card to the candidates. Students receiving rank Card are not guaranteed to have a rank in exam but only they will be called for counselling. If two candidates get equal marks then there will be a tie-breaker
- The student with less negative marks will be selected
- If the tie still exists then the same rank will be awarded to both
The University releases the merit list on its official website with counselling details. After the announcement of the result, The West Bengal joint Entrance Examination Boardorganizescounselling and candidates are called according to their rank, and seats are allotted to them.
Answer Key:
After the exam is over the West Bengal joint entrance examination Board releases the answer key of the exam on their official website for students to estimate and calculate the marks obtained in the examination.
Cut off:
Cut off is minimum marks that a student must obtain to get admission in the University is decided by The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. It is set in accordance with the number of students filing tests, the number of seats available, and the previous year cut off.
