PSTET 2023 Application Form:

To seek the application form, ensure for moving to the website of the Education board of Punjab state for appearing in the Punjab TET 2023 Exam. Register at the Punjab Education Board website site on a priority basis and then click the same and after that fill the details in the application form. After filling the application form, get ready to make payment via debit/credit card as the application fee.

Important Instructions to be Followed for Filling Application Form:

  • Go through the details prior to you fill the PTET 2023 Application Form.
  • Ensure that all the entries get correctly filled by the candidate.
  • Then submit the requisite TET examination fee on the prescribed date and time. Make a payment of the application fee otherwise, an application form will not be entertained.

Punjab TET 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Here candidates can check the PSTET 2023 Eligibility Criteria for the Grade 1st to 5th class and Grade 6th to 8th class:

Eligibility Criteria from Grade 1st to 5th:

  • Those who have cleared Senior Secondary examination and attained at least 50% marks or those who have are in their last year of 2-year D.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) can apply for the exam.
  • Or if the candidate has completed their Senior Secondary school or any other equivalent examination can appear in the exam. Those who are in their final year of D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) under NCTE, Regulations, 2002 can also appear in the examination.
  • If the candidate has completed a Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.Ed) or in their final year (4th year of B.Ed) and attained 50% marks in class 12th examination are valid to apply.
  • If the candidate has attained 50% aggregate marks in class XII examination along with a Diploma in Education or those who are appearing are valid to apply for PSTET.

Eligibility Criteria from Grade Classes 6th to 8th:

Those who are in their under-graduation or attained a Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or appearing can also apply for PSTET 2023 examination.
OR
Those who have attained their graduation degree with at least 50% marks or appearing or completed one-year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) degree.
OR
Those who have attained a minimum 45% marks in under-graduation and 1-year of B.Ed as per NCTE regulations are eligible to apply
OR
Those who have completed their class 12th examination or any of the equivalent examination with at least 50% marks and cleared OR have done 4-year B.Ed (Bachelor of Elementary Education)
OR,
Those who have completed the higher secondary examination with at least 50% marks along with B.A. Ed/ B.Sc.Ed OR B.A/B.Sc.Ed can also appear in the exam.

Exam Pattern:

The question paper consisted of the Multiple Choice Questions pattern. The candidate is required to select one correct option out of four. Even if the answer is incorrect, there will be no negative marking.

Ist Exam Pattern:

  • For the first Language, there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • For Child Development & Pedagogy, there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • In the second language, there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • For Environmental (EVS) Studies, there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • For Maths, there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • Overall, there will be 150 questions for 150 Marks

2nd Exam Pattern:

  • First Language is mandatory; there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • Child Development & Pedagogy is the compulsory exam, there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • The second language is mandatory; there will be 30 questions for 30 marks.
  • Social Studies (For SST Teacher), there will be 60 questions for 60 marks.
  • Science and Mathematics, there will be 60 questions for 60 marks.
  • Overall there will be 150 MCQ questions for 150 marks.

Admit Card:

Punjab TET 2023 Hall Ticket or admit card will be provided to candidates’ prior final examination. Admit card is important to carry while moving to the examination hall as this card comprises of crucial details. The admit card is also available online, you only need to seek print out and show whenever the examiner asks for it.

Result:

  • The PSTET selection process will depend on the entrance exam score which is conducted by the Punjab State Government.
