PU UGLAW 2024 Application Form:

  • The application procedure will be commenced in both online and offline modes.
  • Those who have completed online registration will receive the Application Number, Login ID, and Password.
  • Use the login credentials such as Application Number, ID, and Password to generate fee challan. Make a payment of the application fee in the offline mode in any branch of the State Bank of India before the deadline.
  • Now, log in again and fill out the application form and upload the prescribed documents.

PU UGLAW 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate must have completed class XII or appearing in class XII may also appear in the test.
  • Candidate must have class XII from CBSE board, New Delhi, or from its equivalent Examination conducted by a recognized Board/University/Council.
  • Applicant must have cleared the 10+2 exam with a minimum of 50% marks (45% marks in for SC/ST/BC/PwD category) from the recognized Board/University.
  • If you are possessed with a 10+2 Higher Secondary Pass Certificate or have First Degree Certificate in distance or correspondence method may also apply.

Exam Pattern:

The examination pattern will help to understand the exam better. You will also have information about marks distribution in the exam pattern category. Check the details below:

  • The exam will be commended for 1.5 hours
  • The total marks of the paper will be 100
  • The question paper will be made available in languages such as English, Hindi, and Punjabi
  • Paper will be commenced in the offline mode

Syllabus:

The syllabus of PU UGLAW 2024 will consist of General Knowledge & Current Affairs, Aptitude for Law, Mental Ability, and English Language

Exam Result:

The result will be announced on the website of the university such as results.puchd.ac.in and uglaw.puchd.ac.in. Visit the website and download the result. There will be no proviso for re-evaluation / re-checking / re-assessment and once the evaluation is done is final. In case, the applicant wants to verify the result, then they will be provisioned with the photocopy of their answer sheet by paying the INR 10,000/- within 10 days after the result declaration.

Merit List:

Punjab University will release two merit lists. The first one will be the Preliminary Merit List and the second is the Final Merit List. Those who have their names on the first Preliminary Merit list will fill out the admission form. The second and final merit list will distribute the seats in BA LLB and BCom LLB courses.

  • Preliminary Merit List: The first Merit List will be published based on performance in the Entrance test. Those who have received minimum qualifying marks in PU UGLAW 2024 entrance test will be included in the preliminary merit list.
  • Final merit list: Final or second merit list will be released once the applicants fill out and submit the admission form. The merit list is based on 50% weightage of the entrance test score and 50% weightage of the qualifying exam marks. Candidates will get admission to the desired course based on performance in the final merit list.

Cutoff:

Candidates must acquire minimum cut-off marks or more than the cut-off marks to qualify for the entrance test.
