Rajasthan RAS 2022 Application Form, Syllabus, Exam Date, Eligibility

Rajasthan RAS 2022: Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is for candidates willing to work in various posts under Rajasthan Administrative Service. Rajasthan RAS 2022 is the ultimate civil service examination for the state of Rajasthan. There will be innumerable vacancies to be occupied through RTS or RAS. The competitive examination is organized into three steps viz :

  • The prelims or the preliminary round,
  • The mains or the main examination, and
  • The interview sections or personal assessment round.

Eligibility Criteria

  • The applicant should be an Indian citizen.
  • Applicants need to satisfy the terms of the eligibility standards as furnished by the official website.
  • Candidates are required to complete Graduation from any reputed academic institution or University.
  • Candidates applying for Rajasthan RAS 2022 must be within 21 to 40 years of age
  • Reserved category applicants will have relaxation in the upper age limit.
  • Female applicants belonging to any of the categories ST/ SC/ BC/SBC will have 10 years of relaxation in the upper age limit.
  • Male candidates pertaining to ST/ SC/ BC/ SBC Category will get 5 years relaxation in the upper age limit. category
  • BC and SBC applicants will have 13 years of relaxation in the upper age limit.
  • There will be 10 years of age relaxation for general applicants pertaining to the PwD category.
  • There will be 15 years of age relaxation for SC/ST candidates under the PwD category.
  • For divorcee and widow (women) applicants, there will be no age limit.
  • There is no exact constraint on the number of endeavors.
  • An applicant can seat for the RAS examination innumerable times as specified in the official website RPSC.

Rajasthan RAS 2022 Exam Date:

  • Online Applications will be available from April to May 2022.
  • The initiation of editing of the application form will commence from June 2022 and will end by the last week of June 2022.
  • Candidates can download the admit cards from the last week of July 2022.
  • The preliminary round will commence from August 2022.
  • Answer Key will be released immediately after the exams.
  • Preliminary results will be announced in the fourth week of October 2022.
  • The marks for the Prelim round will be announced by November 2022.
  • The main examination will take place in the 4th week of December 2022.

Rajasthan RAS 2022 Application Form:

Rajasthan RAS  2022 application form will be issued by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission via online mode on their official website. The applicants can avail the application form from the RPSC website. Candidates need to register themselves on the official website. They have to furnish all the necessary details in order to register online. The application form must be filled with correct and pertinent information. The application fee must be paid while submitting the application form. Candidates have to upload scanned copies of the latest photographs with signatures along with the application form. After submission applicants need to keep the registration number for further use.

Application Fee:

  • The application fee for the general applicants will be Rs. 350/-
  • The suggested fee for SC/ST candidates will be Rs. 150/-
  • For OBC candidates the application fees are Rs. 250/-
  • For physically incapacitated applicants, the fee is Rs. 150/-
  • Applicants can pay the application fee via the online method through net banking or by using credit or debit or cards.
  • Candidates can pay the application fee can via offline mode in any of the branches of SBI. The Bank will issue a challan as an acknowledgment which the applicant has to keep for future use.
  • Candidates have to enter the Challan number of SBI while submitting the application form online.

Syllabus:

Candidates can avail of the syllabus from the official website. The syllabus for Rajasthan RAS 2022 will circulate round Geography & Natural Resources, General Science, Culture &History, Wild Life and Ecology of India.

Exam Pattern:

  • There is a three-tire selection process for Rajasthan RAS 2022.
  • The prelims will have MCQ-type questions.
  • The mains will comprise of long questions.
  • The final or interview session will judge the quality and ability of the applicant.
  • To be on the final merit list candidates need to qualify for all three rounds separately.

Preliminary Round:

  • The preliminary examination will comprise one paper.
  • This will be a 200 marks paper.
  • The time limit for the Preliminary Round will be 3 hours.
  • Prelim is a gateway to the main examination.
  • The question paper will be based on the syllabus of the graduation level.

Main Examination:

  • The mains will be based on written examination.
  • This examination will have four papers.
  • Ist Paper will comprise of General Studies I for 200 marks
  • 2nd Paper will comprise General Studies II for 200 marks
  • 3rd Paper will comprise General Studies III for 200 marks
  • 4th Paper will comprise of General Hindi and General English for 200 marks
  • The time limit for each paper will be 3 hours.
  • General English and General Hindi will be of Higher Secondary level.

Interview session:

  • Interview or Personal assessment round takes place only after the candidate has qualified both Preliminary and Main examination.
  • The round will carry 100 marks.
  • The score in this test depends on the in-depth knowledge of the candidate on any topic.
  • Candidates better performance will give them a chance to be in the merit list.

Answer Key:

  • Candidates will get the answer key on the RPSC website.
  • Candidates can assess their marks with the help of the answer key.
  • As the Preliminary round is based on MCQ type so candidates can avail the only for the Preliminary round.
  • The applicants can cross-verify their answers with the help of the answer key.

Admit Card:

  • The official website will display the admit cards.
  • The admit cards will only be available via online methods.
  • Candidates completing the application form successfully can only avail of their admit cards.
  • Admit card is an imperative paper for the candidate as it enables him/her to seat for the examination and further helps in their recruitment procedure.
  • Candidates must keep it properly till the recruitment process takes place.

Cut-off:

  • The cut off marks depend on the number of applicants giving the examination.
  • The cutoff is also dependent on the number of vacant posts every year
  • The RPSC commission decides the cut-off percentage.
  • The cut off depends on the level of the question paper.
  • Candidates belonging to different categories have different cut off marks.

Result:

  • So the candidates can go through their results from the RPSC official website.
  • There will be a direct link for results on the home page for the convenience of the applicants.
