REAP 2023REAP 2023 or Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process 2023 will be managed by RTU or Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota. The entire admission procedure is the state-level admission process. Candidates are proffered with admission to the University and its affiliated institutions on the basis of JEE Main/ NATA Scores or intermediate scores. Admission is also provided in B.E. / B.Tech/ B.Arch. courses. This university will not commence any formal entrance examination for candidates to seek admission. REAP 2023 Application Form:

  • Fill the application form via online mode.
  • There will be the availability of the application form in the second week of May month.
  • Upload the latest passport size photo and signature in the format mentioned during the application process.
  • Those who have applied on the basis of the intermediate scores need to upload the mark sheets as well
  • Do not send hard copy of the application form to the exam conducting authority.
  • As soon as the application process gets over, take a printout of the application form for further help.

REAP Application Fee:

Candidates are required to make a payment of Rs.700 for the application fees. Make a payment of the application fee via online modes such as net banking, debit card, credit card, and e-wallet.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.
  • Applying candidates must be born on or after October 1, 1995. However, those who are ST/SC/PWD their Date of Birth must fall on or after October 1, 1990. There will be an age relaxation of 5 years given to the reserved category candidates.
  • You must submit the medical fitness certificate at the time of reporting.
  • Candidates of Rajasthan are required to satisfy the local status by the Rajasthan state government and must submit a domicile certificate of Rajasthan.

Eligibility for B.Tech/ B.E. Course:

  • Candidate must have successfully cleared class 10th and 12th from Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan or from some other recognized Board.
  • Candidates must have acquired at least 45% marks (40% marks for those belonging to SC/ST/PWD/OBC and SBC of Rajasthan state).
  • Candidates must have cleared the qualifying exam with subjects like Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects and one optional subject.

Eligibility for B.Arch. Course:

Candidate must have successfully cleared 10+2 or equivalent examination from  the recognized board with subjects like Mathematics with at least 50% marks in aggregate OR

Candidates must have successfully cleared 10+3 diploma from any stream recognized by central state govt. with Mathematics by attaining at least 50% marks in aggregate OR

Candidates must have completed International Baccalaureate diploma after 10 years of schooling with at least 50% marks in aggregate in Mathematics

Those who are applying via NATA scores need to have attained 80 out of 200 for all categories.

Merit List:

  • The seat allotment will be done through counselling is based entirely on the REAP 2023-22 merit list. In the beginning, two merit lists will be created on the basis of JEE Main 2023 rank and another list on the basis of class 12th scores and percentile.
  • After that a combined merit list will also be created on the basis of merit list-1 and merit list-2.
  • Merit List 1 will be based entirely on JEE Main 2023 rank and Merit List 2 will be based on the scores/percentile of class XII.
  • JEE Main 2023 rank will be provided with a higher preference over the Class 12th percentile while preparing the combined merit list. So, candidates are suggested to register via JEE Main rank.
  • Those who are registered on the basis of scores achieved in 12th need to upload their class XII mark sheet during the time of the registration process.

Reservation:

The reservation of seats will also be done as mentioned by the Government of Rajasthan (apart from private institutions and 50% seats in self-finance course of the government engineering institutions)

  • For SC/ST, the seat reservation will be 16% for SC and 12% for ST
  • For OBC NCL candidates, there will be a seat reservation of 21%
  • For Kashmiri Migrants, 5%
  • For Defense killed/ gallantry award winner/ ex-servicemen, it will be 3%
  • For PWD, it will be 3%
  • For Women, it will be 25%

Counselling Process:

The process will be commenced in several rounds. During counselling, candidates who stay outside of Rajasthan state will be getting the seats. The seat allotment is based entirely on the merit list. During the second round

of counselling, the aspirants of Rajasthan those who have domicile will be provided with the seats. In the last round, those who have opted for an upward moment can also participate. The counselling will be commenced in the second week of August 2023. Candidates are required to submit the choice form in order to participate in the counseling process. The seat allotment process is entirely based on the choice and merit according to the options that the candidate has filled in the form.

Admission Process:

The entire admission process is based on the combined merit list, options filled by candidates, and availability of seats. Candidates can check their seat allotment online by using login ID and password. It is crucial for carrying all the original documents during the time of counselling. Along with this, submit the admission fee during the time of admission only. Carry below-mentioned documents during counseling:

  • Under taking by OBC/SBC in required format
