RRB Group D 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate must be a citizen of India, or a subject of Nepal, or a subject of Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee who came over to India, prior 1st January 1962, to permanently settle in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.

The age of the candidate should be between 18 to 33 years. There will be a proviso of age relaxation (upper age) to the candidates belonging to reserved categories. SC/ST category candidates will get age relaxation of 5 years, OBC for 3 years, PWD for 10 years, and PWD SC/ST for 15 years

Candidate must have successfully cleared class X from some recognized institution by NCVT/SCVT or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT.  ITI is not compulsory for Group D recruitment

RRB 2024 Application Status details:

There will be the release of the RRB Group D Recruitment 2024 Application status of Group D. The application status will be released just after the scrutiny process of the application gets over. Candidates can access the application status, being the provisionally eligible candidates and rejected candidates with the reasons for rejection.

Selection Process:

There are several stages of the selection process which are as follows:

Fill the Application Form: The application form is available online and the application fee will be Rs 500 and for PwBD / Female /Transgender/ Ex-Servicemen candidates and SC/ST/Minority Communities/ Economically Backward Class will pay Rs 250. Make payment via online or offline mode

Exam Pattern:

Registered candidates will appear for CBT which is 90 minutes test consisting of sections like – Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness, Current Affairs. There will be a negative marking of 1/3 marks for incorrect answers.

Syllabus:

Mathematics Syllabus:

Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern, etc.

General Intelligence and reasoning Syllabus:

Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions, and Decision making, Similarities, and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions, etc.

General Science Syllabus:

Physics, Chemistry, and Life Sciences of the 10th standard level (CBSE).

General Awareness on current affairs Syllabus:

General Awareness on current affairs in Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities, Economics, Politics, and any other subject of importance.

Shortlisting for Physical Efficiency Test:

Candidates will be chosen for the Physical Efficiency Test three times the number of vacancies. There will be Shortlisting for PET which will be done based on the performance in CBT.

Admit Card:

There will be an issue with the RRB Group D Recruitment 2024 Admit Card via the official website. Those who are registered can download the admit card by entering the required credentials. The admit card consisted of details such as the address of the exam center, date, time of the exam, and personal details.

Result:

There will be a declaration of the result via online mode. The result will be provided region-wise in PDF format. Marks attained by the candidates in CBT will be normalized to announce the exam result.

Verification of Documents:

On the basis of performance in CBT, candidates are subject to qualifying for PET. Those who have completed the test successfully will appear for document verification.

Medical Exam:

As soon as the documents verification gets over, the selected applicants will appear for a medical examination. And soon after this, candidates will receive a letter of appointment after clearing the medical examination and proving themselves to be medically fit.
