Candidates can apply via the official website of Tamil Nadu RTE admission

  • First, go to the home page of the portal
  • Now, click on the start application option
  • You will find the application form on the screen and once it appears, start entering the details such as Name, Gender, Date of birth, Religion, Community, Mobile number, Email ID, etc.
  • After this, click on the save button and the registration message will flash on the screen.
  • Once you are done with the successful registration, fill out the application
  • As soon as the application form is completed, upload the crucial documents

  • The home page will open where you will find the Resume Application link. Click on the link.
  • You will find a login page on the screen.

  • After this, click on the Login option.
  • A new page will appear and now you can resume your application.

RTE Tamil Nadu Admission 2023 Eligibility Criteria:

Check the eligibility criteria to apply for RTE Tamil Nadu Admission 2023:

  • The candidate must be a permanent resident of Tamil Nadu
  • The age to apply should be between 6-14 years
  • The candidate’s family income must not be more than two lakh rupees
  • Candidate must belong to EWS category, disadvantages group, disadvantages group special category
  • Preference will be given to the disabled, wards of scavenger and HIV infected

  • Income certificate: Tahsildar, Revenue Department, Government of Tamil Nadu
  • Community Certificate for BC and MBC: Deputy Tahsildar, Revenue Department, Government of Tamil Nadu
  • Community Certificate for SC: Tahsildar, Revenue Department, Government of Tamil Nadu / Competent authority in case of children coming from other states
  • Community Certificate for ST: RDO/Sub Collector, Revenue Department, Government of Tamil Nadu / Competent authority in case of children coming from other states
  • Certificate for the Orphaned: District Social Welfare Officer, Department of Social Welfare and Nutritious Meal Programme
  • Certificate for HIV affected: Medical Officer authorized by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India
  • Certificate for the Transgender identified: Medical Officer authorized by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India
  • Children of Scavenging workers: Competent authority authorized by the Commissioners of the respective corporations, municipalities, Executive officers of the respective town panchayats, and Presidents of the respective village panchayats
  • Children of Scavenging workers who are not employed by the Corporations, Municipalities, Town Panchayats, and Village panchayats: The district collector or the authority authorized by the District Collector
