SCERT Odisha B.Ed 2024: The Odisha B.ed entrance exam is conducted by the State Council of Educational Research & Training (SCERT) and Directorate of Teacher Education. Every year SCERT allows candidates to make a career in the teaching fields. Interested candidates can fill the application form before the last date. SCERT Odisha B.Ed 2024 Eligibility:

• Nationality: Candidate should be an Indian citizen.
• Age limit: For the General category, the age limit must be less than 35 years and for females, it must be 30 years. The SC/ST & SEBC candidates must have maximum age is 35 Years and for PH candidate’s maximum age limit is 40 Years.
• Qualification: The candidates who have passed Bachelor’s degree in BA/BSC or Master’s degree or equivalent degree with minimum 50% marks and If candidates have a degree of BE/BTech with Science & Mathematics so they must have 55% marks for an apply application form. There is a relaxation of 5% for ST/SC/PWD/SEBC categories.

Odisha B.Ed Admission 2024 Application Form:

The online application form will be released through the official website (www.scertodisha.nic.in) in April 2024.

Here are the steps to fill the application form:

• Visit to the Official Website (www.scertodisha.nic.in).
• Now, open the link and the application form will appear on the screen.
• Firstly the candidate should register themselves. From registration, the candidate will get a registration ID and password.
• Then candidates enter details such as Registration Number, Candidate’s Name, Gender, Category, etc.
• Now, Upload the candidate’s scanned image and signature in the online application form.
• After filling up all details now the candidate can pay the application fee through debit/credit/net banking and the Application Fee is Non-Refundable.
• Finally, check the filled application form and submit it carefully

Odisha B.Ed 2024 Application Fee:

• For General/SEBC category: 400/-
• For SC/ST category: 200/-

Exam Pattern:

• Type of Questions: MCQ (Multiple Choice Question)
• Number of question: The Odisha B.Ed Entrance exam question will be 150
• Duration of the Test: 2 hours 30 minutes
• A pattern of Question Paper: There will be 2 papers paper 1 and paper 2.
• Paper 1: 50 marks
• Paper 2: 100 marks
• Negative Marking: For every incorrect answer 0.25 marks will be deducted.

PAPER 2:

Paper 2 will be different for Arts Stream and Science Stream. One of the two papers needs to be attempted by Candidates.

Admit Card: 

The Odisha B.Ed 2024 Admit Card will be released before 2 weeks of the exam from the official website. It will not be sent by any other mode to the candidate. The candidate should download the admit card and print it. The admit card will contain details of the examination and candidates like- candidate’s Name, image, signature, roll number, exam date, and time. It is compulsory that Candidates must carry a valid id proof and a photo of candidates with admit card.

• Also, Click on Submit Button
• Finally, take a print out of your admit card.
• And also, save the Admit card for future use.

Result:

The result will be declared at the SCERT Official website in the month of September 2024. After the declaration of the result candidates who qualify the exam will be invited for the Counseling Process. The successful candidate will get all the information about the counseling. Merit list will be prepared by category-wise for general & reserved category candidates. The Admission will be the basis on the entrance exam merit list & counseling.

Counseling:

Counseling will be based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam. After the declaration of results, Candidate, who will qualify for the exam, only they are called for counseling.  Candidate can select their choice college. Eligible Candidates are requested to attend the counseling on a decided date and time along with required documents for Verification. The candidate will get admission to the University, only after the successful verification of documents.
