Eligibility Criteria:

  • While applying, ensure that you belong to Indian nationality. Besides this, also ensure that you satisfy all the local as well as non-local statuses.
  • Those who belong to other categories except Indian National must go through the rules which are framed by University authorities.
  • There is no specific age limit to apply to the course.

Qualification Criteria for LLB 3 year Course:

  • Candidates are required to have completed graduation examinations in a pattern such as 10+2+3 from some recognized universities.
  • The candidate is required to have attained at least 45% marks. However, it is 45% for those belonging to the reserved category in aggregate.

Qualification Criteria for LLB 5 year Course:

  • Students are required to have passed the Intermediate examination from some recognized university and Telangana Board of Intermediate or some other exam which must be equivalent to an intermediate level.
  • Candidates are required to have passed the qualifying examination with at least 45% marks. However, the percentage is 40% for those belonging to SC and ST categories.

Exam Pattern:

  • TS LAWCET 2023 will be conducted through online mode.
  • The examination will appear in two different languages such as Telugu and English.
  • The duration will be 1 hour and 30 minutes.
  • The question paper will appear in Objective-type mode.
  • In total, 120 questions will appear in the question paper.
  • There will be no negative marking.

Syllabus:

The test is commenced for checking the ability to pursue the study of Law. Students’ knowledge will be checked on the principle of law and the constitution of India. Questions from Current Affairs and General Knowledge will also be asked.

  • For 5 year Law Course, the standard expected is of Intermediate level/10+2 and for 3 year Law Course, the standard expected is of Degree Level.
  • The questions in Part-C, Aptitude for the study of Law, elementary knowledge of the basic principles of Law and Constitution of India, on the Part of the Student is assumed.
  • The Questions will be objective type including multiple-choice questions, matching items.
  • Each question contains four alternative answers numbered as 1, 2, 3, and 4. Candidates have to exercise their choice in answering the question.

Hall Ticket:

Those who have successfully submitted the application form can download the Hall Ticket from the main website. Admit card will be released in August. This ticket consisted of details such as Exam date, venue, Exam center, and all details of the student

Result:

The result of the TS LAWCET 2023 is usually released in June every year. Candidates will be ranked according to the marks obtained. The rand card will also be released after a few months of the result declaration

Counselling:

The process of counseling commenced for those who have qualified the entrance test. The counseling process will take place after the results announcement. Students will be chosen according to the merit list which is prepared by the exam conducting authority.
