TS PECET 2024: Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda releases the Telangana State Physical Education Common Entrance Test (TS PECET) 2024 application form every year for admission to the B.P.Ed & D.P.Ed courses. The university is the sole authority to set the eligibility criteria and selection process for admission to both courses. Candidates seeking admission to their preferred course must fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the university. Candidates failing to fulfill the eligibility criteria are barred from going through the selection process.

The duration of both B.P.Ed & D.P.Ed course is 2 years each. The selection process for admission to B.P.Ed & D.P.Ed program includes the Physical Efficiency Test (400 Marks) & Skills Test (100 Marks) each. Any changes in the selection process will be notified by Mahatma Gandhi University with the release of the notification on its official website.

TS PECET 2024 Application Form

Mahatma Gandhi University releases the TS PECET 2023 application form online every year on its official website. Candidates aspiring to appear for the TS PECET exam must fill out the application form within the given deadline and required guidelines. Candidates failing to do the same will not be able to download their admit cards, hence, the application form must be filled correctly in one go.

Below are the steps to fill out the application form:

• Visit the official website of the conducting body.
• Register yourself with your Email ID, password, and mobile number.
• Once registered, log in with the above credentials.
• Once log in, the application form will appear on the screen.
• Fill out the application form with personal details like the Candidates’ name, father’s name, permanent address, date of birth, aadhar card number, etc.
• Once personal details are filled in, candidates will have to move to the second part of the form which is filling up educational details and uploading required documents like Class 10th & 12th marksheet.
• Third, candidates must fill their category status.
• Fourth, candidates have to fill up their choice of game they want to participate in the skill test and details related to the Physical Efficiency Test
• Last, upload your scanned photograph and signature.
• Submit the application form
• Pay the application fees.

TS PECET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who want to take the TS PECET 2022 must meet the eligibility requirements provided by the exam’s administrators. The following are the basic requirements that must be met:

D.P.Ed Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed or appeared in an intermediate or similar course recognised by the state of Telangana to be eligible for D.P.Ed. As of July 1, 2024, the lower age limit must be at least 16 years old.

B.P.Ed Eligibility Criteria: Candidates must have passed or appeared in a 3-year degree examination recognised by any university located in the state of Telangana/recognized state university to be eligible for B.P.Ed. The minimum age requirement is 19 years old.

TS PECET 2024 Exam Pattern

TS PECET 2024 exam pattern includes the Physical Efficiency Test and Skill Test. Under the Physical Efficiency Test, male and female candidates will be judged and selected on different parameters. The parameters for the Physical Efficiency Test for Male and Female candidates are given as follows:

Skill Test

Skill Test is conducted after the Physical Efficiency Test and contains 100 marks. Under Skill Test, candidates will have to show their exemplary skills in any one of the games which they have opted for while filling out the application form. Games that candidates can opt for under the skill test are as follows:

• Shuttle Badminton

• Ball Badminton

Admit Card:

TS PECET 2024 admit cards are released by Mahatma Gandhi University on its official website after the successful conclusion of the registration process. The admit card is an important document that registered candidates are required to carry with them during the selection process. Candidates failing to bring their admit cards with them will be barred from competing in the Physical Efficiency Test & Skill Test.

Steps to download TS PECET admit cards are given as follows:

• Visit the official website of the conducting body.
• Click on the link ‘TS PECET Admit Card’
• Enter your registration number and date of birth
• The admit card will appear on the screen
• Download and save the admit card

Result & Counselling:

After the conclusion of the Physical Efficiency Test & Skill Test, TS PECET result is released on the official website. Candidates who have participated in the test will be able to check their results using roll number and date of birth.

On the basis of their results, candidates will be allocated a rank. The rank may be viewed using login details such as the TS PECET hall ticket number and date of birth on the official website. The TS PECET result must be recorded and stored until the time of counselling.

Selected candidates will be called for the counselling round. Candidates will be able to choose a college based on their scores during the counselling and selection process, which will be performed entirely online. Candidates will have to pay the required counselling fee as per their category.
