UGAT 2023: The UGAT exam has organized by the All Indian Management Association (AIMA). AIMA UGAT is a national-level examination. It is a pen and paper test which is a screening test for Undergraduate Courses such as Integrated MBA, BBA, BCA, BHM, and B.Com. It is conducted annually by the All India Management Association (AIMA). AIMA has been released the application form of UGAT. UGAT 2023 Application Form:

  • Aspirants can fill the AIMA UGAT 2023 Application Form either in the online mode or in the offline mode.
  • Aspirants can fill UGAT Once the registration is complete they’re asked to fill in the form.
  • Aspirants are required to upload the documents in a prescribed format.
  • Aspirants can take the printout of the filled Application Form.
  • Online: Apply Online by making payment through credit /debit card (ATM Card) or net banking of Rs.650/-.
  • Offline: You can obtain the admission form for a fee of Rs. 650/- from institutes registered for AIMA or AIMA, Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi.
  • AIMA is would process the application within 5 days.
  • The Form Number is going to be shown in the Application Status.
  • Aspirants can check the application status at the official website of AIMA which is www.aima.in

Eligibility Criteria:

Aspirants are required to follow the given eligibility criteria if they have to apply for UGAT. Check the information given below:

  • Candidates must be citizens of India.
  • Aspirants must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board.
  • Aspirants who are still appearing or have appeared in 10+2 can also apply.

Exam Pattern:

Aspirants can check the exam pattern given below in order to know about the number of questions, duration, and sections that would come in the examination. To know more check the information given below:

  • Mode: The test is a paper-based examination.
  • Nature: The test is going to have objective-type questions.
  • Duration: The duration of the test is 3 hours.
  • Marking Scheme: there would be negative marking for the wrong questions.

UGAT 2023 Admit Card:

  • The admit card for the test would be available online.
  • The Admit Card holds information of the candidate- name, Form number(registration number), Roll number, Test date, Test time, Address of test venue.
  • Aspirants must carry the Admit card at all times.
  • Aspirants can download the admit card by entering the online application number, date of birth, e-mail id (any two).

Answer Key:

  • Visit www.aima.in.
  • Click on the testing service section in the navigation bar.
  • Click on the UGAT link.
  • You’d find the link to UGAT Answer Key.
  • Enter the necessary details.
  • Download the answer sheet.

Results:

The results would be published by the end of the month in which the exam would be held. The Score Card consists of information like details of the Aspirants, marks scored by Aspirants in the examination, total score, etc.

  • Visit the official website of All India Management Association.
  • Select “Testing Services”.
  • A drop-down would be opened, select the ‘Result’ option.
  • Students would be redirected to another page.
  • Click on the UGAT Result tab.
  • Enter Roll No and Form No.
  • Click on the Submit button.

Cut off:

After the declaration of the result, various management institutions accepting UGAT would release their cut off. Those students who’d bear more than the cut off would be shortlisted for the further selection process.

The selection process includes

  • Group Discussion
  • Personal Interview rounds.

On the basis of the cut-off marks, the merit list would be prepared. Students would be ranked in the merit list on the basis of their cut off marks. Cut off marks is decided on some of the following factors which are as below:

  • Number of  Aspirants appeared in the exam
  • Number of seats for allotment
  • Reservation Norms
  • Previous year Admission trend
  • Last year cut off
  • The difficulty level of the exam.

Counseling:

After clearing the entrance examination, Aspirants need to be present for counseling organized by institutions. If the students are not present for the counseling the seats would then be allotted to other candidates.

Applicants are required to bring the following documents at the time of counseling.

  • 10+2 Mark-sheets/or equivalent
  • School Leaving/ Transfer Certificate
  • Migration Certificate
  • Admit Card
  • Category Certificate (if required)
  • Class X clearance certificate for age verification.
  • evidence of appearing in qualifying exams( if results are awaited)
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
  • Income certificate for SC/ ST/ OBC
  • Four passport size photographs
