UPRTOU B.Ed 2022: UPRTOU or Uttar Pradesh RajarshiTandon Open University every year conducts the admission for its B.Ed programme through various colleges under its banner. For admission in UPRTOU B.Ed 2022, there will be an entrance exam for the desiring candidates.  The application form for UPRTOU 2022 will be available from March 2022. Depending on the performance in the entrance exam candidates will be shortlisted to complete the remaining admission formalities.  All applicants must ensure that they satisfy the eligibility norms provided by the university before filling and submitting the UPRTOU B.Ed application form. UPRTOU B.Ed 2022 Application Form:

The official website of UPRTOU www.uprtou.ac.in will provide all details pertaining to the B.Ed entrance conducted by the university. Applicants must keep their documents and photographs ready will submitting the application form. Application forms will available on the official website. Candidates need to provide their name, educational qualification, gender, and other requisite information in the application form. After providing the details applicants will get a bank challan and registration number. Scanned photographs and signature in the prescribed format is mandatory for application form submission. There is no correction facility available so candidates need to be cautious while filling the form. The application fee is obligatory for all candidates. With the help of the online challan, candidates need to pay their application fee. They can also opt for online transfer mode for application fee submission. Applicants must furnish all valid information in the application form. All applications must reach the university before the due date. With the help of registered or speed post, only applicants need to send the filled application form with the valid application payment slip to the authority.

UPRTOU B.Ed 2022 Application Fee:

For General and OBC category the application fee is Rs. 1000/- and for SC/ST applicants Rs. 550/- will be the application fee. Application fee payment can be done via online mode viz. debit card or credit card or net banking. E-Challan mode is also acceptable.

Exam Pattern:

All applicants must get acquainted with the entrance exam pattern before appearing for the test. The pattern for the entrance is discussed below-

• The mode of the entrance will be Offline ie. pen and paper mode.
• The medium of the entrance will be English and Hindi
• The exam will be conducted for 3 hours.
• Questions of the entrance will be Objective or MCQ type
• Total 200 questions will be there. Each part will have 100 questions.
• Part A will have 100 questions related to general awareness and general mental ability.
• Part B will have another 100 questions on topics related to teaching aptitude and understanding in two teaching disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates can go through the eligibility criteria followed by the university in order to seek admission for the UPRTOU B.Ed program. Candidates satisfying any of the below-mentioned criteria are fit to apply for the course.

• Applicants need to complete a teacher’s training program from any NCTE affiliated institution or anyone who worked as a teacher in any primary school can apply for the program.
• Applicants must have pursued graduation or have completed a master’s degree in any subject from any reputed university.
• B.E or B.Tech from reputed universities with mathematics and science specialization can apply for the program. Candidates with 55% or more marks can only seat for the entrance.
• Applicants must have any two of the following subjects in graduation like English, Hindi, physics, botany, chemistry, zoology, mathematics, home science, history, political science, geography, sociology, psychology, economics and commerce. Candidates with any one of these subjects in graduation and the other one in class 12th examination are also eligible to apply.

Admit Card:

The official website will provide the admit card for the UPRTOU B.Ed entrance test. Applicants have to download the admit card in order to seat for the entrance. Admit cards will be available one week before the examination commences. Printed versions of the said admit card must be kept by the applicant for any further use. Admit cards are mandatory for any entrant applying for UPRTOU B.Ed entrance. All applicants must reach the examination centre 30 minutes before the scheduled examination time with their valid admit cards.

Result:

• The official website will disclose the UPRTOU B.Ed. Entrance test 2022 result.
• By providing the registration details and roll number applicants can go through their results.
• The result will display the total score as well as marks scored separately in different subjects in the admission test.
• Other than the results merit list of the successful candidates will also be published by the university.
• Depending on the score the authority will publish the merit list of the shortlisted candidates.

Counselling:

Counselling will be conducted only for successful candidates. The counselling session will give the student a chance to select their college to study the program offered by the university. In the counselling session, all documents will be examined so candidates need to take all original documents while attending the counselling.
