CPNET 2022: The Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences takes responsibility to commence the entrance examination of CPNET (Combined Paramedical, Pharmacy, and Nursing Entrance Test). Candidates can apply using online mode through the official website. Those who are interested in admission in paramedical, pharmacy, and nursing courses need to appear for the entrance exam. It will be mandatory for applicants to attend the entrance test and if not appear in the entrance test then will not be applicable for other rounds. CPNET 2022 is a state-level exam commenced by the Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS). It is recommended to acquire complete information like eligibility criteria, application fee, the application process, admit card, etc for further ease.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates should be aware of the eligibility criteria mentioned below:

  • Candidates must be the resident of Uttar Pradesh state.
  • The minimum age of the applicant should be 17 Years as of December 31, 2022.
  • The upper age limit for the GNM course should not be above 35 Years of age till December 31, 2022, of the year of admission. Most importantly, for the ANM course, the age of the female applicants’ should not be above 30 years till December 2022 of the year of admission.
  • Applicant must have successfully completed Class XII from a recognized board.

CPNET 2022 Application Form:

After checking the eligibility criteria, candidates are suggested to avail complete information about the application process:

  • Candidates are suggested to seek the application form using the official website.
  • Check the exam name “CPNET”.
  • Candidates will then register themselves and they will also see the option ‘Sign In New Registration’. Click the option and fill in all the details such as name, email and contact number.
  • After this, One Time Password (OTP) will appear on the registered mobile number and candidates need to enter OTP and after this, a username and password will be sent on the candidate’s email and mobile number. Candidates are suggested to keep the details safely as this will be required during the time of the CPNET answer key.
  • Again login by using the username and password. Complete the application form by entering all the personal and educational details.
  • Next, candidates will upload the documents. Upload the photograph, signature and certificate in the prescribed size only.
  • After submitting the documents, pay the application fee. The application fee is mandatory to pay.
  • It is suggested to download the final confirmation form and keep its copy for further use.

Application Fee:

Submit the application fee before the last date then only duly filled application forms are accepted. Check the given below application fee according to category:

  • General/Other Backward Classes (OBC): Rs.1000/-
  • SC/ ST Category: Rs.500/-

Exam Pattern:

The candidate must know all about the examination pattern for a better understanding of the paper structure. Here are the comprehensive details:

  • Exam Duration: 120 minutes
  • Number of Sections in Exam: 2 Sections

Paper I (For Science Students only):

  • Physics: 33 questions
  • Chemistry: 33 questions
  • Biology: 34 questions
  • Mathematics: 34 questions

Paper-II (For Arts/Commerce/Other Students only):

  • General Hindi: 20 questions
  • General English: 20 questions
  • General Studies: 60 questions

Admit Card:

After filling the application form, candidates will get the admit card through the official website. Download the admit card by using login ID and password. It is also important to carry the admit card along while entering the examination hall. The candidate is not permitted to appear for an exam without an admit card which is also called a hall ticket. Admit card provides information such as Examination date/time/address etc. Also, ensure to check all the details in the admit card for avoiding any complications later.

Answer Key:

The answer key will be published through the official website. After giving the exam, applicants will be able to calculate the estimated marks in the written exam. The answer key consisted of correct answers to the questions. Applicants will also get the photocopy of the OMR sheet that they have filled during the exam time.

Exam Result:

The examination result will be announced on the official website of Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences. Check the examination result using the official website by using login ID and password. In case, candidates are not satisfied with the results then they can challenge by paying Rs.500/-. This amount is refundable in case there will not be any incorrect calculation.

Cut Off:

The cut-off marks are the qualifying marks via which candidates will be selected for the counseling round. It will be released during the result announcement. Cut off marks denotes the minimum qualifying marks to clear the examination based on the marks acquired by the candidates.

Counseling 2022:

The counseling process will be commenced by the exam conducting authority and those who successfully clear the examination and shortlisted in the merit list will appear for counseling round. Selected applicants will carry important documents along with them at the counseling center for document verification. Applicants will be selected for admission based on the merit list released by University.
